This is not the X-Men as you know them. This is not Earth as they know it.
On a planet where the mutant gene appeared early in the 20th century, mutants overcame bigotry and prejudice decades ago. Today, they enjoy the civil rights and liberties of baseline humans, along with the knowledge that they will someday be the dominant species through the efforts of evolution.
In the 1970s, the US government, specifically the CIA, recognized the potential to harness untapped talent in the mutant population. They recruited Charles Xavier, a telepath, and Erik Lensherr, a magnetokinetic, to be their first mutant operatives. Not too long after, the two agents and friends founded Agency X, a base for an all mutant Spy Team and training school for new recruits.
Lensherr left Agency X in its first year, citing disagreements with the level of control the CIA held over the school and irreconcilable differences with his Co-Director. It was rumored that he formed his own spy network of mutant supremacists...
A popular Marvel AU RPG that dates back to 2006! Main setting is NYC where a prosperous Mutant Town is governed by Mutant Police and antagonized by a Mutant Mob all while espionage intrigue happens between Agency X and the Apex Alliance. Relaxed plots and original characters accepted.
