Ternia is a beautiful place, where people live everyday life without worries. War is not common in this place, but recently there has been a great disturbance among the gods and goddesses that keep watch over this wondrous place. Someone is trying to turn the tables away from neutrality, and causing much distress to the balance of life. War has broken out among the pawns that roam Ternia, and many individuals have perished because of this.
At a great meeting, the gods and goddesses determined the root cause of the sway of power: one of the kings of the four nations wished to step into during the confusion caused by their war to usurp their immense power. However, the king has actually just been used by one of the gods (unbeknownst to the other gods and goddess) so he can take the power for himself.
It is up to the players to restore balance, destroy balance, or join the conflict themselves. Raise heck, start a new war within your own race or with other races. Be the peacemaker, and settle disputes. Stand up for you God/Goddess and fight! Or, you could also not care about anything and decide to loot all of the destroyed cities. It’s completely up to you!
