`help me escape from lonely choirs
dislikes being touched, having to deal with fay, the courts, being hurt, not being strong, being cold, being wet, rain, winter, being a pawn, hurting people, lies, being tricked, half truths, letting fay get to her, death, sad endings, not knowing everything she needs to, being ill, ashes, being locked up by force, lust, sex, emotions, disappointing people, being bored, lack of color, being restrained, knowing that werewolfs and vampires are around her, fear, speaking at all, singing, dealing with her playing music, shoes, being without a court, being predicable, throwing up, remember her childhood, being told no, burns, emotions she doesn't understand, failing.
strengths loving at heart, careful with her words, hiding her emotions, controlling her glamour, being fast, being stubborn.
weaknesses doesn't know how to deal with other fay, is afraid of werewolf's, and vampires, is physically weak. Letting people get close, stubborn, being healthy, holds a grudge, following orders.
goals To eventually find a place where she belongs, or with a person/fay that she belongs with, to grow stronger, to loose some of her shyness.
fears She will die and become a shade, she will be forced to join the wrong court, she will be alone, one day she will loose her voice completely.
secrets It was her "mothers" words that turned her into a 'mute'. she is afraid of being alone.
personality Before she was a changeling and a fay, Faylinn was a teenage girl. With teenage feelings. She lived an active life, partying a lot. She loved to have fun, and too play around with people. She loved everyone around her, until they pissed her off, or did something to someone she cared about. If they didn't like who she was, her old attitude said fuck them! She was her own person, she loved to express herself in everyway. From her hair and her cloths, to anything else she could make look like her. She loved herself.
After finding out about the truth though. Faylinn has changed. Where she used to be wild she is now mild. She's afraid of fay, knowing what they can do. She's never met a vampire or werewolf, and that frightens her also. All of these new things that she knows about frighten her and have made her become closed in on herself. She doesn't talk to anyone, doesn't talk at all actually. Faylinn loves people though, she loves being around people, and some fay don't scare her, she feels inside of herself that she is alone. It eats at her, but she doesn't want to trust anyone. For now she's dormant it almost seems. She's hiding inside of herself, trying her best to not stick out in anyway or have attention drawn to herself. Inside of her still lays a bitch though, waiting to come out. Her real self she's waiting inside of her to be released. [/ul]

history Anna was eighteen, when she found out she was pregnant. Nineteen by the time she gave birth to a healthy little girl named Shayla. So what was the problem? Anna was a high school drop out, with no real job, no real home, or anything too call her own. She wasn't doing so well out in the real world, hell when she found out she was pregnant, she didn't even know who to call she'd slept around so much she had no idea who the father was. She was a struggling musican, trying to get noticed and to get out of little Vancouver, Washington. Trying to get gigs, in Seattle and Portland, and other local cities. She knew having a child wasn't going to make anything easier for her. So she did what she thought was right and handed her child too her mother. Shayla's grandmother, Shayla was only a few weeks old. Shayla of course doesn't remember any of this, sometime in the next year, the original baby was taken, and replaced with the changeling. Of course no one in the family knew this, how would they know?
Shayla grew up with her grandmother after that for a few years. Until she turned five, and her mother thought that she could get points for having a child with her on tour. What type of points, Shayla was never sure of, but after going nearly three years without seeing her mother, she knew she wanted to be with her for a while. So she brought Shayla on tour with her, while they went around playing dive bars, and the like. Never really going anywhere. In those years, Shayla grew up quickly, living off gas station food, with her mother and her mother's band mates. A bunch of guys, who all wanted to sleep with her mom. She watched as her mother was used and played over and over by men. Watched as she was hurt, over and over. She helped her mother out by holding her hair for her when she binge drank, and made sure they had a place to stay at night, even if that meant finding out where the car was parked.
That was Shayla's life for a while. That was until Shayla was twelve, and her mother had another child. Just like the time before twelve years before, Anna her mother had no idea who the father did. Shayla was twelve and knew more about sex, then some adults, but even she didn't know who the father was. By this time she was a short thin boy, who was starting to be noticed by boys her own age. While she looked like a just developing twelve year old though, she was mentally probably twenty. More mature than her mother, who just like the last time, sent the young daughter she'd just given birth to, a girl named Piper to her mother. Where she staid while Shayla went out on tour. This time though, Anna and Shayla stuck around for a little while. Unlike there normal week long visits. In this time was probably the only time she ever got proper education, her teachers were shocked at how much she knew, and put her in advanced classes, but in this time. It was probably the only time she was ever normal growing up. Not only in her circumstances, but something about her, always seemed to shine from the inside of her. She was a light around every where she went. Living normally didn't last for long though.
Anna quickly grew tired of the house wife life, and living with her mother. She decided to go back on tour. Her grandmother saw how living on the road had aged Shayla. She was twelve years old and she knew more things about sex, drugs, and drinking then she really should have. Her grandmother insisted that she stay with her. Shayla wasn't happy about it, but in the end her grandmother won the fight. Shayla was forced to stay here where she was bored out of her mind, and blended in. After that she did anything she could to stand out, living with her grandmother, and little sister for years. Her mother dropping in every now and again to let the family know she's alive. Shayla staid with her grandmother, and sister for a few years. Living as if she was human because she didn't know anything different. Of course that all changed, she can still remember the day it all changed. When she met Stephan.
Stephan had been her first, and only boyfriend ever. She was seventeen when she met him. There was something about him that enchanted her as it was, of course later on she found out there was a charm about him. That was dangerous, by the time she found this out though, Stephan had uncovered the truth of who she really was. What she really was, everything was different, and changed. Everything was different after that. For a while she tried to contuine living as Shayla, but Stephan wouldn't let her, he forced her to too Anna what she was, what had happened to her daughter. Faylinn had been unable to resist him, and had ended up telling Anna. Anna's last words to her were, "Silence your poison tounge! I hate you! Your not Shayla! Don't you dare call yourself her name, don't you dare even speak! Get out!" Shayla was devistated by this, soon after Stephan left her.
Piper was the last person to talk to her, her little sister...Shayla's little sister gave her the new name she goes by. Faylinn, because Shayla has to many memories, and carries to much pain. When Faylinn moved her, she found someone who could break the changling glamour around her, since then, she's had no contact with other fay. Or anyone else, listening to her mother, to Anna's last words to her. She hasn't spoke in nearly a year, because of this most here think she's a mute, but she won't let them bother her. While she tries to deal with what she really is. [/ul].

Caleb looked at Devon, she didn't have to finish what she was going to say. He knew what she was going to say, he'd heard that line from many girls since they'd broken up. Of course none of that had lasted, except for Min. "I know I know, be careful with girls," he said looking at her. "There evil and mean, and not nice." he said looking at her. 'Except for you, your like some weird man girl thing that's not mean," he said winking at her with a smirk.
Caleb looked at Devon, "Well my parents are just awesome like that," he said. "And they knew I could have ended up with a lot worse," he said thinking about the girls they'd gone to school with. Whores, and sluts who gave it out like candy. He'd never been into that, and his parents were thankful for it. Caleb looked at her, and laughed a little bit, "Yeah.." he said. "Wait a minute why the hell do we feel old!?" he said looking at her. "Were still young!" he sat up and looked at her. "Nope." he shook his head looking at her. "No say for Devon, because she thinks she's too grown up for this." with that Caleb started to tickle her on her sides. Laughing manically as he did so. He let up after a few minutes and looked at her, "Now. Who's too old to be tickled?" he asked her.
Honestly it didn't take much for Caleb to want to kiss Devon. To forget that, kissing devon wasn't his job anymore. Sometimes his body just did things out of retune around her, it was part of the reason this was going to be the last time he saw her. He swore it to himself, but since this was their last night together. Why couldn't it feel like his last night on earth? Kissing Devon was all he thought about, pulling her closer, being closer to her. Being close to her like he'd once been, that was what was going threw his mind. How he wanted to fully be apart of someone without them shutting him out.[/ul]

This application was made exclusively for Nevermore by Maura Lee Bee. Steal it, and I will release the hounds when you least expect it. And they're not cute little puppies either. They are ravenous beasts because I constantly forget to feed them. They bite, by the way. And love flesh. Don't make me release the hounds. O _ O
