The rhythm of her heart beat filled her head, throbbing in her chest she could feel the quicken pace of it. Every beat going threw her, starting at her heart, flowing threw her chest to her finger tips. Before it was lost in another rhythm a contradicting one, going off at different intervals, making a thud every time her feet hit the ground, before she picked them up again. Her lungs were gasping, begging for air, they'd started a fire inside of her. Somewhere in her lungs that spread along her torso as she ran. She ignored the fire, ignore all of her bodies pleas to stop. To be done running, she'd turned off those feelings. The throbbing of her body meant nothing to her. She was running, she was free, and most importantly. She was chasing something, she was after a someone. Who was running ahead of her, just out of her reach, who kept turning around and laughing at her every so often. Normally this would have set Faylinn on fire to be taunted like this, but every time they smiled at her, Faylinn felt her heart flutter, and she ran harder. Trying to catch up to the little girl in front of her. She yelled, "Piper wait up!" At that moment Faylinn finally caught up with the little girl, and wrapped her arms around her. Piper smiled at her hugging her and laughing, "Shayla!" she laughed.
It was then that Faylinn could feel her heart stop. That she could finally crash to the floor, as her body had been pleading her to do. When she crashed she closed her eyes. It'd all been a dream, a memory, and she'd let it get out of control. Faylinn hadn't been able to help herself. Walking into the forest had made her think of the one she'd had near her Grandmother's home, where she used to go and play with her little sister. The field were they would play, and make daisy chains to protect her from the fairies they'd said lived in the forest, that thought was bitter and filled with sadness when Faylinn thought about it. All things from back when she thought she was human. When she'd been Shayla, now she wasn't Shayla anymore though, she was Faylinn she was someone else, something else completely. She was still caught up with her life as a human though, she had finally admitted that to herself. It was why she'd finally left her house after months of living her. She thought maybe if she met someone new, made some new friends, she would be able to forget her past life. She could move on, with these thoughts. Faylinn opened her eyes, she was on her knees, her breathing was calming down, but her heart was still racing her her head was spinning. She didn't think it would be smart too get up right now. Instead she made her ways to the roots of a tree, and leaned herself against it. She spotted some daisy, and picked one up, with a smile on her face, because she needed protection against fay now. As she stared at the daisy, she lost notice of anything around her. She didn't even notice as someone approached her.

Ah what a day to go wondering, usually she stayed clear of the forest. She wasn’t like other fey, she was roving and she liked it that way. No one could make her join the court, either courts. Fair enough she sometimes did the odd job for the Unseelie King, but that didn’t mean she wanted to apart of that court. She only did things for him because he paid handsomely., and it kept peace and it stopped the Unseelie fey from coming to her door. Kira had just finished a job for the King and decided that she didn’t want to return to the store right away but wander around and enjoy herself for once in her life. Her tattoo shop was her favourite place in the whole world but she just sometimes needed to get away. The ground crunched under her booted feet. She wasn’t trying to be quiet as she wasn’t trying to sneak past someone. All the resident Fey in these woods knew who she was so it wasn’t like she was trespassing or anything.
In the distance she could hear the rumbling of rolling thunder approaching and she frowned. She hated getting stuck out in the rain, as most of the time she had an outfit on that can only be dry cleaned and she likes her close and gets very pissed off it they get ruined. Feeling that there was still a little while yet before the storm actually hit she decided to keep walking towards the deeper parts of the forest. She didn’t even care if there wasn’t anything exciting out here, she just wanted to get away and walking through the forest all on her lonesome was good enough for her. Kira had so much on her mind it wasn’t funny, she had a few customers lined up today to get tattoo’s from her but she decided to visit the King, now that she had done that she was going to be very behind. Also there was the matter of Iris, she was a girl that she couldn’t stop thinking about. At first Kira didn’t want to believe it but now she can’t deny it, she was in love with her.
After a little while she caught the scent of another Fey around, the scent wasn’t strong and she didn’t know exactly where this Fey was this didn’t worry her to much, if they were to stumble across each other the fey would probably just as watch she was doing in the forest. That is if this fey was even apart of the court. But it wasn’t very often that roving faeries ventured into the woods anyway. Kira exhaled deeply and continued to walk, at a slow pace. All the sounds of the forest were around her and she smiled, she loved the sound of nature and all the things that made those sounds. The sounds of the approaching storm were still in her ears and she frowned. Stupid storm would come and force her to return to her store, that was just something she didn’t want to do right now. The scent started to get stronger as she walked and soon she saw the source. It was a female, she was resting up against a tree. Kira stopped a few metres away and cleared her throat, announcing that she was there. She waited for the fey to respond.

Big, thick, sturdy, old, strong, wise. Words that trees had always brought too mind for Faylinn. Trees had always been something that made her smile. That made her remember how small she really was in the world. How much things in her life were silly. When she was standing next to trees that were anywhere from decades, to hundreds of years old. For some reason, Faylinn had always felt better when she was in, by, or next to trees. They made her feel safe, well as long as she had a daisy chain around her. Now when Faylinn walked in the forest, she was noticing that this wasn't the same. While she had come here to try and start her new life. With every tree she passed it seemed more memories came to mind. Unpleasant memories, the type that stabbed at her heart, and made her miss her old life. Yet at the same time she couldn't stop going for the pain. It felt to good.
Faylinn had been lost in her thoughts, lost in the motion of her fingers. In the sight of the daisy, when someone had broken her thoughts. It didn't take long for her to notice the fay that was their. In the past she knew she would have thought nothing of this, would have thought she was a good looking girl possibly even flirted. Now she knew this girl wasn't human though, or at least she didn't think she was. Faylinn didn't have much practice trying to figure out what people where. She stared at the girl instead and didn't say a word. She bit her lip even, keeping her vow of silence. This would be hard she thought, she hadn't been in a situation like this, since her vow? Would she be forced to speak? The thought scared her. But not as much as the presence of the girl did.
Faylinn had tucked her fingers close to her chest. While she'd been thinking, her fingers had been doing. Like always she was moving in some way. Faylinn didn't notice until her fingers stopped. When they did, she couldn't help but look down to see what had happened. She'd made a small ring with the daisy. About the right size to be a ring, Faylinn looked at it, and smiled, before rasing it at the other girl. She remembered what she'd said this morning, when she'd come out here. She was going to talk to people, come out of her new found shell.

A million thoughts were running through Kira’s mind as she stood there looking down at the girl. Why was she sitting there all alone? Was she apart of a court? These were only a few of them. Soon the girl looked up at her after she announced that she was there and the girl looked surprised to see her there and it kind of made Kira feel a little uncomfortable. Shouldn’t she have sensed that she was there? Oh well everyone to their own. She watched her fingers move close to her chest and soon the girl stopped and looked down to whatever it was in her hand. Kira then saw it was a daisy, twirled around to take the form of a ring. The girl then held it out to her, and without even thinking she took the daisy ring from her and looked at it. She smiled as she slipped it onto her finger and examined it on her hand. She looked back to the girl smile still on her face. This Fey was very strange, but not like Kira strange, a different kind of strange.
“Thanks” she said not really knowing what to say, as she had never been given a ring made of a flower before. Come to think of it she had never been given a rose in general. It was nice, but weird, but a good weird.. Maybe. She then cleared her throat again and knelt down in front of the Fey she that she didn’t have to look down at her. There was nothing worse then having a strange looking down their nose at you. She knew that if someone did that to her she would kick them in the shin with her boot or if the person was male she would direct her foot from the shin to the crutch. It was much more painful and a lot more enjoyable for her. She really didn’t know what to say to this girl. “My name is Kira” she said and looked down at the daisy on her finger. It was so different from the rest of the clothing she had on but she liked it anyway. “What ya doing out here all alone?” she asked, hoping the girl would talk instead of just looking at her.

Faylinn, looked at the ring, she smiled at it. It wasn't all that hard to make or anything like that. It was something she was quiet used to doing, she always used to make them when she was small or with Piper. She hadn't meant to make one now though, she wondered if her body just did it as second nature now seeing as she hadn't thought about making a ring with the flower. Her fingers moving, before her mind could get that far. The girl in front of her, who Faylinn was sure wasn't human, but other than that she didn't know what she was. Took the ring and slipped it on her finger, Faylinn only smiled, and nodded her head. She was glad that the other girl had taken the ring from her.
When Kira lowered herself down to Faylinn's level. Faylinn felt all the air on her body stand up. She was frightened, for a moment, pushing her back deeper into the bark of the tree. She was glad for the thick leather jacket she'd thought to wear, as it protected her back from the harsh feeling of the bark in her bare back. Faylinn swallowed when this girl gave her name, Faylinn opened her mouth to try and say something but nothing would could out for a moment. Her insides where in knots, she felt like someone was punching her in the stomach repeatedly, while her heart raced. She looked over this girl with her blue hair though, and she thought that she shouldn't be afraid, she didn't look like she wanted to hurt her. She should speak, she finally decided. She closed her eyes, and sucked in a breath. "Faylinn," she said her name it was quiet barely loud enough to be heard, Faylinn hoped that Kira had heard it. Faylinn touched her throat with her hands, it hurt, to speak sorta hurt. But she knew from when she'd spoken to herself at home, when the silence was to much. That the more she did the less it would hurt. Faylinn looked at Kira, she hadn't given her full name smart. With fay there was power held in names, if someone got your full name they could control you basically. Something Faylinn wondered about, would her name be Shayla or Faylinn? She blinked and looked at the girl in front of her finally a pressing question came out from her lips. "What are you?" she asked with wide doe eyes. Fear was clearly present in them, but also wondering.

As Kira lowered herself down to be at the same eye level with the fey on the ground, she could feel that this gesture had frightened the girl. For what reason she didn’t know, so instead of standing back up she just moved back a little bit just so she wasn’t so close to her. Kira gave her name and waited for the girl to return the favour, but she opened her mouth nothing came out. Did this girl not have a voice? Did she not speak? Kira was a little confused but remembered that changelings sometimes don’t like to speak after they are turned and after a while they just stop talking all together, that could be the case here. Kira started to feel as though she shouldn’t have stopped, perhaps she should have kept on walking. It was a little rude of her to just stop and assume conversation out of this strange fey. Kira had decided the other day she was going to be nicer to people from now on, but not to nice of course.
Soon enough the fey in front of her spoke her name, in the softest voice possible, she mustn’t of spoken in a long time, she watched as she lifted her hand to her own throat as it much have been hurting her from speaking. That’s silly, why people would stop talking all together knowing that one day you would have to open your mouth and say something, it was just unnecessary pain on her part. Oh well everyone to her own, she figured. Kira didn’t say anything to the girl as the way she spoke had kind of thrown her off what she had in mind for a good conversation. Now it was gone and she looked like a little lost puppy just crouching there with nothing to say and just a blank stare. Now she started to feel like she was the one that should be frightened. Come on snap out of it, Kira. No one ever makes her speechless this was a first for her. Soon the problem of not have something to talk about was over as it was Faylinn that spoke.
She didn’t know that Kira was a Faery! How long had this girl being Fey-kind? Sure she should be able to smell the distinct smell that all faeries carry? Kira was so thrown back by the question she wasn’t even sure how to answer it. How should she word such an answer. “Um, if you mean what I think you mean then I’m going to say Faery” she said she said what she said because she wasn’t sure if that is what she meant. But what else could she had meant? It was quite obvious that she was a girl so Faylinn couldn’t have been confused on that. All this thinking was giving her a headache and she didn’t want to be thinking about it anymore. She looked back to Faylinn just waiting for a response from her. How would she take it? Would she be annoyed that she couldn’t pick up her scent?

Pushing the noise out of her throat. Speaking out loud to another person. Her own actions surprised her and frightened her a little bit. It hurt to talk, but not a lot. Not enough that she normally would have showed that it hurt to this girl, to Kira. It was more the shock that when she'd opened her mouth, words had come out. Not a scream, or something terrible, just words they where soft and small she thought. Still the action of speaking made her smile, and turn the corners of her lips up. She'd forgotten how her voice sounded. It had changed since she'd been released from her glamour. It was higher, and where before it had nothing special in it, and no hope for every creating music. Now Faylinn wondered if she could sing. Her hand dropped from her throat after a bit, but she still has the softest smile she could manage on her lips. Upturned cheeks, that showed off her face was the best she could manage. She wondered if she was normal, for a fay at least too be this happy with the small ability to speak. Maybe their was something more behind this though, something more like letting go of her old life.
She was broken out of her thoughts by the girl, Kira she'd said her name was. She was answering her question. Faylinn looked at her, and listened biting her liip. Becoming a little bit more bold every minute. She felt like she'd been locked inside of her shell for so long, now there was a crack in her shell, and everything was coming out, ripping that crack and making it bigger. Pouring everything inside of her out, there was no going back she thought. "Oh," Faylinn said in response too Kira's words. She made a puzzled face for a moment. Her voice coming out louder now, but still a bit shaky. "I should have known that shouldn't I?" she said looking at the girl. The blue hair, the clothes, the walking in the forest, yes she should have known this she could tell she suddenly felt foolish for not knowing this. A blush came rising up and burned her cheeks. She was so foolish, and ignorant she didn't know anything. About being a fay, or about fay in general.
Looking at Kira, she leaned her head to the side. "Your not from the courts right? Stephan said to the courts." she said. Stephan said other things also. Things like he loved her, but that all had been lies. He'd just wanted to show her what she was and break her. He was cruel, just like other fay, she thought. Though looking at Kira she didn't think she looked too cruel, she seemed to be nice even too Faylinn, though was it all just a joke? She bit her lip and thought about the words she'd just uttered from her lips. She sounded so weak when she said that, she wanted to sound strong but, she knew she wasn't. She was a weak fay, someone who should hide, but she was sick of hiding.

Faylinn almost looked saddened at the fact that she didn’t know that Kira was a Fey. Kira thought it a little strange but she didn’t judge the girl for not knowing. Kira had no idea what had happened to this girl in the past she therefore she had no right to judge. Other Fey might not be so nice about it, Faylinn was lucky that it was Kira that stumbled across her first and not on from the Unseelie court. They would have been mean, poked fun and teased her and possibly have been abusive towards her. Kira didn’t want that to happen to Faylinn and she was so glad that she decided not to go straight back to the tattoo shop. Who know what might have happened to her if Kira hadn’t come along. “Its alright that you didn’t know, I’m not one to judge” she said and gave Faylinn a smile. She liked this girl, she had much to learn she just needed the right teacher to help her learn all she needed to know.
Faylinn’s next question made her smile, Kira was most definitely not from the Courts and it was going to stay that way. Her loyalty was for neither side, she was loyal to herself and no one else. She enjoyed being a roving Faery and she couldn’t live any other way. “No I’m what you call Roving” she said with a smile and she sat down on her legs instead of crouching, it was just way to comfortable. Faylinn mention someone by the name of Stephen Kira had never heard of him before, but she didn’t know eve very Faery. She looked down at the daisy around her finger and sighed. It was very beautiful, unlike everything about her, especially her true form. But she really couldn’t do anything about that. She looked back up to Faylinn and smiled. “Would you like to go for a walk or something?” she asked feeling her legs starting to tingle. She could also sense that the on coming storm was getting closer.

Faylinn looked down at the ground, feeling a bit like a child. She guessed she was sort of a child in some ways. She most defiantly was a child by fay age standards. Still she felt like she didn't know anything. It made her aggravated. She didn't like not knowing anything, but what she did know. She'd learned from Stephan, and she wasn't sure if she could trust him. Trust what he'd told her. "I should have known though." she said pouting. "I'm no good at being a fay." she said looking at the girl. She was slow, and not very bright. Or not in the way that they seemed to be she thought. She felt so small, again she thought she was a child. She was lost in this new world that she was entering, it scared her, so much.
Roveing? Faylinn tried to think of what that meant if she'd ever heard it before. She was sure she had, but it hadn't stuck inside of her mind. It must have been something in those first few days, she barely remembered anything from then. From her first few lessons, before Stephan left. Faylinn looked at her, "Does that mean your safe?" she asked the other girl. "The other's there not safe. Especially the dark ones," she shivered as she thought about the dark ones. The things she'd heard about that court. She didn't know if it was true though. Faylinn looked at Kira, she questioned the girl for a moment. Trying to think if she should go away with her, walk around the forest. She didn't notice the storm coming, but she did feel the slight bit of electricity in the air. It made her hair stand on end. "You won't hurt me will you?" Faylinn asked in a small voice looking at Kira. She didn't think Kira would, and she wouldn't admit it even if she was probably. But then again, maybe she would tell her the truth.

Kira smiled at Faylinn as she stated she should have known about Kira being a fey. This then got her wondering how old she was and who was her mentor, perhaps this Stephen was her mentor if so then he didn’t really do a very good job of teaching her the way of the fey before he sent her out in the world. It was really bad because knowing a little as she did about her own kind was dangerous, nasty fey would use that to their advantage and hurt her, confuse her. She hated fey like that, she couldn’t understand how they could do that to their own kind. “In time you will be” she said in response to her comment about not being very good at being a fey. Having a really bad irresponsible teach would do that to you.
She smiled as Faylinn question her about what being a Roving fey was. “No, being a roving just means that you belong to no court and you don’t really stay in the one place for long” she explained. Being a Roving fey was the opposite to safe, the courted fey weren’t very nice towards Kira’s kind. “Being a Roving Fey, is the opposite to safe, the other will try and get you to join their court and when you refuse they will make you life a living hell, hence the reason why I do the odd job here and there for the Unseelie King, keeps me from being in the cross fire” she said smiling, not wanting to frighten the girl with the true but it was the true and she had come to except what she had to do when she decided to stay in Nevermore.
After Kira asked the girl if she wanted to go for a walk she waited and glanced around the forest. It was quite to quite. Kira hated the silence of the forest it always made her think the worst was coming. She could now smell the rain and it wasn’t going to be long till it started to pour. Kira feared for her dress, she didn’t want it to get wet. She looked back to Faylinn as her voice entered her ears again. She could almost frowned at what she hear. But it was quite natural for a fey of her knowledge to be a bit weary of a stranger. “No I’m not going to hurt you, Promise” she said with a smile and got to her feet and dusted off her legs. She then held out her hand to Faylinn

Faylinn looked at Kira, she was still pouting a little bit. She wasn't so sure she was ever going to be a good fay. Or know how to be a fay, it was complicated. Dealing with the courts, and all of those things. Faylinn looked at her, "I'm still learning I guess." she said thinking too herself. She sighed, and tried to smile, but it was a bit hard when she was biting her lip. Still she was glad inside that Kira was being nice to her, and not being mean to her. Maybe all fay weren't so bad? After all Kira seemed nice enough.
Faylinn looked at Kira, something like hope shinying in her eyes. Maybe if she was a roving the courts would leave her alone? She thought. She listened to what Kira was saying. "Oh," she made a face while she thought about things. "If it's not safe to be alone, why aren't you in a court?" she asked her. While she asked that though, her mind was on something else. Was there anyway to be safe? Safe away from the fay, that would hurt her. Was there anyway to protect herself, besides wearing iron which made her sick to her stomach. Faylinn looked down, her heart falling a bit. So staying out of the courts wasn't going to help her stay safe, and keep her away from the fay. But she didn't want to join a court, but she didn't think she was strong enough to stand up to the courts. "You work for the Unseelie court!" Faylinn's eyes grew wide. She'd only heard stories about that court, and what she had heard wasn't pleasant. "There's no such thing as safety from the courts is there?" she asked looking at Kira. She knew the answer, but she had to ask. She just want to stay out of people's way, not get involved with the courts, and stay safe. But there was no such thing as safe.
Kira said she wouldn't hurt her. Faylinn looked at the hand for a minute. She thought about saying no that she wanted to stay here. But she knew she didn't want to be alone anymore. Faylinn grabbed the hand and pulled herself up quickly. Too quickly actually. She lost her footing and ended up crashing into Kira. The force of the crash, ended up making her fall backwards and onto the ground. She was still holding Kira's hand to, so the force of the fall had pulled her down too.

Kira understood when she spoke of still learning. There was a lot of things you had to know to be a fey. She could remember when she was learning. She could remember back when she was young and learning. Kira was born a fey so you think her parents would have been more then happy to teach her everything she needed to know, but no they didn’t do a very good job either. “You will understand everything in the end” she said with a smile. Faylinn then asked her why she wasn’t in a court if is wasn’t safe to be on her own. “I don’t do very well taking orders” she said, she would rather be on her own dealing with her own problems other then the problems that come with become a part of a court. She could see that the knowledge of her work with Unseelie court had shocked her. “Yeah, but it’s for a good reason” she said hopefully making her feel a little better.
She then asked her if there was ever safe from the courts. Kira knew the answer but she wasn’t sure she wanted to tell her. But she didn’t want to lie to her, if she was going to be a good teacher then she had to be honest with her. “There are ways to be safe for a time, but no you are never truly safe” she said hoping that she wouldn’t be frightened out of being a roving Faery like her. She couldn’t make the decision for her but she would like to hope she made a friend. Soon Kira got to her feet and told her that she wasn’t going to hurt her if they went for a walk together. She watched Faylinn as she thought over everything and she finally took her hand and lifted herself up. But just a little to fast and Faylinn went crashing into Kira. She tried to catch her but she couldn’t, Kira still had hold of Faylinn’s hand and as she fell so did Kira.
Landing on top of Faylinn and quickly rolled of her and laid on the ground next to her. She couldn’t help but laugh at what happen. It had been a long time since Kira had actually laughed and it made her feel good. “Are you okay?” she asked lifting herself up into a sitting position. Everything had happened so fast and she loved it. Her heart was racing a million miles a minute and she didn’t know when it was going to stop. Trust Kira to make a new friend and then fall on top of her.

Faylinn looked at her, in the end. Whenever that was, she thought with a sigh coming out of her lips. The next words out of Kira's mouth, made Faylinn smile, and give a small laugh. She looked at her, and nodded her head, "I know the feeling." she said. Orders, and her where like water and oil. They didn't mix well usually. Faylinn looked at Kira, while the fact that she worked for the court, made her nervous. She felt like she could relax around her, she didn't think this girl meant her any harm.
Faylinn still sat there, thinking, so there was no way to be safe forever. At least she could be safe for a little bit. She looked at Kira, a look of gratitude on her face. "Thank you, for not lying to me" she said looking at her. She was glad she got the truth. "I'm still not sure if being a roving is for me, but the dark court scares me, and I've yet to see the light court." she said thinking about it for a bit. She looked at Kira, "For now...could I just be with you?" when she asked this her cheeks flushed with color. Bringing a red ting to her pale face, after months in her room, Faylinn's skin had lost most of it's color. She hoped that Kira wouldn't deny her.
Faylinn was surprised by the fall, and falling back. She'd ended up closing her eyes, while she fell until she felt the weight of Kira on top of her. Faylinn's eyes were huge and she stared at the other girl, until she got off of her. Another blush filled Faylinn's cheeks as Kira laughed, after a minute of thinking, Faylinn let out a little giggle too. Her heart was going fast, like she'd been running, it was a good feeling. She nodded her head, "I'm fine," she said with a smile, sitting up. Faylinn looked at her, "I guess being a fay doesn't change my grace much," she said with a smile, and a sigh. Faylinn stood up, and walked infront of Kira. This time she offered her hand.

There was something about this young fey, Kira didn’t know what it was its just something about her that made Kira just want to hug her and protect her. She had never felt that way about another fey before. Yeah fair enough she was a fey herself and she should be all like, “protect your own” but she was never like that, except with Faylinn. Kira smiled at Faylinn as she too doesn’t do to well with taking orders. If Faylinn couldn’t take orders then she wouldn’t do very well become apart of any of the courts, well it be the dark court or the light, they both have rules and they both give orders to their follows. By the sounds of things she would be better to stay a roving. That way no body gets hurt. Faylinn then went on to explain that she felt that being a roving wasn’t for her. Kira felt different. Kira looked up at Faylinn as she asked her is she could just stay with her until she has figured out what to do. Kira couldn’t help but smile.
“Of course you can” she said surprised with herself…again. Under any other circumstances she wouldn’t have even heard of such an idea, having a strange young fey stay with her would have been out of the question but there was just something about Faylinn that made her decision different. It was like she wanted to be around Faylinn all the time and made sure that she was alright. Kira smiled at Faylinn as a pink tinge came to her cheeks. She was obviously shy about asking Kira if she could stay with her. She never really understood the shy emotion but when it splashed itself all over Faylinn’s face it just made Kira melt. Could Faylinn be her first real friend that wasn’t a human? She had Iris as a friend but she was human and she was easier to like then more fey. Kira liked the idea that Faylinn could be the beginning of something new for Kira. There was a huge possibility that these two were going to be helping each other in the future.
Soon Kira offered Faylinn her hand to help her up but it only resulted in them both tripping over and hitting the dirt. Kira couldn’t help but smile and laugh as she rolled of Faylinn, she worried for a moment that Faylinn might have been hurt because she didn’t smile she didn’t laugh. So Kira asked if she was alright, after that a smile and soft giggle escaped Faylinn and she informed Kira that she was okay and she wasn’t hurt. Instantly after learning that information Kira felt so much better that she hadn’t hurt her new friend by falling on her. Kira chuckled at her next words about her gracefulness hadn’t changed since being a fey. “You will get better in time”she said and watched as Faylinn got to her feet and extended her hand to Kira. Perhaps they might have better luck staying on their feet this time. Kira took Faylinn’s hand and pulled herself up. She dusted of her clothes and sighed. “Shall we” she said, looping her arm around Faylinn’s.

Faylinn, had felt nervous asking Kira if she could stick around with her. She'd even started to pick at the hem, of her shirt. She smiled when Kira said she could, she couldn't help but feel better. "Thanks," she said, a smile on her face. She nodded her head, "I don't like being alone." she told Kira. She felt like a walking target, waiting to be taken, and hurt by everything around her. She sighed, she missed for the millionth time, being human, and ignorant. Still something about Kira, made her feel better. Like maybe all of this wasn't so bad.
Faylinn looked at Kira, "Perhapse." she said looking at her. She looked at Kira, and smiled as her arm came around hers. The two were connected. "Who, knows I must just keep falling for you." she said looking at the girl with a smile. A little bit of her former self shinnying threw for a second, since she felt comfortable with Kira. She felt for the first time in what seemed the longest time, that she was okay, she was safe and things were going to be ok. Maybe this world wasn't so terrible, after all, Kira here didn't seem so bad. She was nice and she didn't want to hurt Faylinn. She just sighed and smiled, thing were good she decided. "So..." Faylinn said looking around. She couldn't think of anything to say, so her cheeks flushed once more, and she looked down at her feet. She smiled at Kira's boots, nice, she thought. Her whole look was interesting. Faylinn felt a bit plan next to her.
Faylinn looked at the sky, "It's going to rain soon." she said. As soon as the words were past her lips. She could hear thunder rumble, which sent a shiver down her spine, and made her jump all at once. Faylinn looked up, with big eyes. As the rummble faded, the sky began to cry, and rain started to pour down on the two girls. "Ah!" Faylinn said, as the cold rain hit her. She froze from the walking she'd been doing. A smile on her face, Faylinn looked at the girl next too her and smiled. She loved the rain.
