Denali Borough, Alaska. Consisting of land spanning a total of 12,775 square miles of land and not to mention 25 square miles of water. Many cities lie in this borough and the population of the area is a mere 1,893. But perhaps the most interesting fact about this place is hidden from human knowledge. That among those citizens are vampires. They live farther out from the hub-bub of the cities but they are still citizens there. Yet they make sure that once they mingle they must go back into hiding for a while, perhaps a generation or two are spent just in the wilderness with themselves for company. Those people are the Denali Coven. And the most recent family to move up here lives a few miles from the Coven's own home. The Cullens have gone to Denali being that their stay in Forks has drawn to an end.
It has been seven years since the birth of Bella and Edward's son, Micah. Seven years since the showdown in Forks with the Volturi. Seven years since Leah Clearwater imprinted on him. The Cullens choose to leave Forks given that it was becoming hard for them to explain Micah. So they choose to come to their second home up in Denali. And just what happened to Jacob Black? Well he left after the showdown and has been wandering the Canadian wilderness. Will he ever come back to see his old friend Bella despite the fact that she's one of the leeches now? Will he ever find his own perfect half and imprint? Have the Cullens heard the last of the Volturi? Only time will tell what is & should never be.
