Nodding to her, he walked down a hallway that lead off towards the mess hall. He wasn't really sure what to talk to her about, he guessed he could ask her some questions, figure out a bit more about her. For some reason, Hatter felt shy and a little nervous, something he has never felt when around other people, especially of the females.
When they reached the end of the hall to double doors, Hunter pushed one open and allowed for Rose to go in before him. He followed in behind her, letting the door shut as he went and lead her over to a table. He glanced around, smiling and waving to a few fellow hunters that were chatting and snacking on some food. Hatter pulled a chair out for Rose for her to sit before sitting down himself. Now he felt awkward, something he hardly felt and he had no idea why.
Hatter let out a small sigh, as he reached up to the hat and pulled it off his head and set it down in the middle of the table in front of him. He raked a hand through his hair, causing it to become a bit messy before turning to look towards Rose "So, what do you do when you're not sneaking in places?" he asked with a bit of a grin.

Rose followed Hunter out of the lobby and down the hallway. She looked around at everything she past. She had always wondered what it was like in here and now she was actually here, she kind of didn’t want to be here. She had thought so much about not wanting to be a hunter, so why would she want to come to this place so much. Fair enough it was where her brother was and she wanted to see him, really badly but was it worth coming all the way down here, and having her brother being annoyed with her anyway? She swallowed the lump in her throat and pushed away the thoughts. On the plus side of all this she had created a friend, on that actually seemed interested in getting to know her. It wasn’t something that happened every day.
Soon they reached the end of the hallway and were standing in front of a set of doors. Hunter pushed one open and stood aside to let her pass. She flashed him a smile and slipped into what she assumed to be the mess hall. He then was next to her leading her over to a table, she quickly glanced at all the other Hunter in the hall and felt a little uncomfortable, and she just knew they were all looking at her, talking in hushed voices about her. Calm down, Rose you’re just being paranoid she said to herself silently. He pulled out a chair for her and she sat down quickly and pushed herself in close to the table and placed her arms on the surface of the table, she watched him as he walked and sat down in front of her. He looked just as uncomfortable as she did.
She heard him sighing but she didn’t make eye contact. She watched him as he took of his hat and placed it on the table. He looked just as cute without it and she couldn’t help but smile. The way he messed it up just made her feel as though she wanted to jump across the table and have her way with him right there and then. That thought made her frown for a moment and then blush, did she just think that? She bit the inside of her mouth while she silent debated with herself. She was snapped back to reality when his voice entered her ears again. The question made her smile, what did she do? She purposely went out looking for things to beat up at night time, but she wouldn’t be telling him that anytime soon. “Um, I read a lot. I work in a bookstore in town” she said.
Oh Yay she worked in a bookstore and he hunted the supernatural for a living. How exciting was her life. She cleared her throat, “What do you do when you aren’t fighting Vampires and Werewolves?” she asked, curious about what Hunters did when they weren’t hunting. She knew what her brother did but he was just a weirdo and he spend all his free time with his weirdo sister, so getting some Intel from another Hunter was a nice thought. Her brother just wasn’t a normal guy, but she wasn’t very normal either. She looked up to him and smiled then looked to his hat on the table and without even thinking she picked it up and put it on her own head. It was a little big and slipped down over her eyes. She pulled it off and placed it back on the table “Sorry” she mumbled.

Hunter smiled at her, for a girl that sneaks onto the campus of a hunting academy, he would of never thought of her to be a girl to work at a book store, or even read a lot. Though, he wasn't calling her dumb in any way, she had just been worried about her brother and well..he could admit it was a stupid thing to sneak in here "A book store? That's cool. I'll have to come by and visit." he told her, with a small wink. Though Hatter didn't read a lot, he would take the time to go and see her, possibly bug her while she is working.
Hatter shrugged his shoulder a bit at her question "Working out, resting, healing..This is actually and off day for me, or else I would be out there with your brother as well." he rolled up the sleeve of his shirt some to show bandage on his right forearm "They really don't like us to be out there fighting while we are trying to heal." he said a bit nonchalant. Really, being hurt like that wasn't a big deal to him. It would barely leave a scar and that was something he cared most about.
He couldn't help but to laugh and grin at her as she put the hat on her head. It was a bit big on her, but she did look adorable as hell with it on "No problem at all." he told her, as he picked up the hat and placed it back on her head. He fixed it on her head so that it fit better, so that it wouldn't go over her eyes "I hate to admit it, but I would say you look better than even I do. And that doesn't happen much." he joked, before grinning and winking at her again.

Rose smiled went he said he would come and visit her some time; it was the best thing she had heard all day. Deep down she knew that he meant it as well; there have been times where people have said the exact same thing to her but never ever came to visit. She knew though that they wouldn’t come by, just by the way they said it to her. Over the years she had become quite good at reading people and interpreting what they say. Being alone a lot of the time and not having any real friends she just came to watch people, listen to them in a non-creepy way of course. “I would like that” she said and smiled, she could tell that he wasn’t much of a reader, but she didn’t care he wanted to come visit her at work, she didn’t care if he left with a book or not.
Rose listened to him explain what he did in his free time and she couldn’t help but picture him working out in her head. She bit the inside of her lip at the sight in her mind now that would be worth having a look at. He then went on to explain that today was his day off from his Hunting duties and said that if it wasn’t that he would probably be out with her brother fighting. She looked away from him for a moment as she thought back to her brother out there risking his life to fight the supernatural. She was proud of him for doing what it was he was doing, but she couldn’t ever shake the thought of her getting a letter in the mail or a phone call, informing her that he had been killed or worse turned into something horrid. She would rather him be dead.
You might think that her priorities are a bit mixed up but she knew that her brother would rather be dead then something of the supernatural. She looked back to Hunter and gave a small smile, “I’m glad that you weren’t out tonight” she said giving a half smile, she was glad that she decided to come here tonight and she was glad that it was him that found her wandering out on the grounds. Who knows what might have happen if she had ran into a nastier Hunter, someone that didn’t care about what she was here. She liked the feeling that she got when she out his hat on, even though it was miles to big for her, she still liked having it on her head, but unfortunately her not wanting to invade in his personal area she was forced by her conscience to remove it and apologise.
She couldn’t help but smile and feel a lot better knowing that he didn’t mind that she had tried his hat on. She couldn’t help the blush that formed on her cheeks when he told her that it wasn’t a problem that she had. She bit her lip and giggled slightly when he picked the hat back up and put it on her head again, placing it in the right spot on her head so the it didn’t fall down over her eyes again. She smiled and scrunched up her nose in the cutest way possibly when he said that she looked better in the hat then he did, she couldn’t help but laugh at the comment about it not happening very often. She silently agreed with him with that and cleared her throat, “It looks better on me because I am just so devilishly handsome and everything looks good on me” she said jokingly and did a cute little pose.
With a smile and a slight blush on her cheeks she leant against the table and placed her arms out in front of her, she needed to stretch her arms as her elbows cramped up sometimes if she kept them bent for so long. “Do you always wear a hat, or is it just an every now and an again thing” she said curious about whether or not he had an awesome hat collection. The only thing that she has that comes even close to a collection is a scrap book of old newspaper clipping that she had collected over the years, of strange things that have been covered up by the government. She wasn’t stupid she really knew what was going on. Her brother always said that she was just getting way to obsessed about the truth they cover up, he told her that she could never prove anything with it.

Hunter smiled at her, he would definitely have to come by and see her at her job, especially if she seemed to like the idea of it. He could already picture himself walking into the book store, finding Rose there behind the counter or even stocking shelves with books. Of course, she would look even better in the daylight, he is sure of it. It actually made him ache a bit on the inside, he wanted to see this girl with the sun warming her skin. Damn, why did she have to sneak in here during the night time.
Hatter felt his heart sort of flutter at her words; sure, he has heard it from his family and close friends before, but..coming from a stranger, he wasn't sure why it made him feel all warm and..well..fuzzy. As cheesy as it is, but he did. He smiled down at her, actually happy he didn't go out with her brother and others tonight too "You know, I don't say this much, but I'm glad too. Because, I would of never got the pleasure of meeting you." he told her, winking slightly before he felt a very small blush appear to his face. He really meant the words.
He couldn't help but to laugh at her words, she looked definitely adorable, even sexy with his hat. He was one to never allow others, especially girls to put his hats on, but he was glad he only allowed Rose to do so, it made it all the more..wonderful seeing the only girl ever to wear a hat of his. Before he could stop himself, he reached out and brushed a few stray pieces of hairs away from her face, tucking them behind her ear. Hunter smiled down at her, as he let his fingers linger softly against her cheek, before dropping his hand down to his side. He knew he shouldn't allow himself to feel anything towards this girl. She is, after all, Robert's sister. He would definitely kill him. And besides, he's a hunter. His life was not one for her.
Hatter gave a small shrug "I usually always wear one. I try not to when I'm out hunting, because when I have to fight, they tend to get ruined. And that just makes me even more of an ass than I already am when in that hunting mode." he told her, with another small shrug "I really don't like it when my enemies ruin my hats."

Rose could feel herself melting as he smiled at her, she didn’t know what it was about him but his smile was just so, perfect it made her feel as thought she as on top of the world. She smiled back to him and looked away quickly feeling a little embarrassed for just smiling and looking at him like a loony. She looked back to him with a normal look on her face as he spoke to her again. No one had ever said that they were pleased to have met her, she was so glad that it was him who said it. She had always told herself that she would never fall for a hunter, for two reason’s the first being because it would remind her of her brother too much and second, having to worry about two people every time they went into the darkness would put her in an early grave. But there was just something about Hunter that made her feel that everything was going to be okay. It was a feeling that she was being to trust very much.
She smiled as he laughed at her words, she was hoping he wouldn’t think of her as up herself from what she had said, and from his laughter he didn’t. Soon he was reaching up and brushing a few strains of her hair away from her face and putting them behind her ear and she felt as though she was going to explode. He allowed his hand to linger against her face before dropping it back down and her face was on fire, she could only imagine what it would look like, a tomato? Rose the glanced at the other hunter in the room they were all looking over at her and Hunter and she grew even more embarrassed. Looking about to Hunter she smiled and cleared her throat and just listened to him speak again. His words made her forget about all the other things in her life at the moment, and it washed away the embarrassment that she was feeling. What he said to her made sense, it was just like her brother he didn’t like ruining him shoes when he was hunting.
“I’m sure your not really an ass, but from how you reacted when you first saw me then maybe you are an ass” she said with a smile, she didn’t think he was an ass anymore, it was understandable that he acted the way he did when they first met not all that long ago. She was just busting him chops. She smiled at him again and said, “How many hats do you have?” curious on whether he has enough hats for each day of the week or just a small amount. It was a strange thing to want to know but Rosalie was a strange girl and she believed in being honest with people about how you really are when you meet new people and she was a very curious girl. She could still feel all the other hunters around them looking at her and she grew extremely uncomfortable. “Would you like to go for a walk, are you allow in the grounds at night?” she asked again with all the curious questions.

Hatter laughed at her words and shook his head "Sorry. I really didn't mean to be that way to you. If I knew from the beginning who you were, then I'd of been a bit nicer." he told her, with a smile "But, it being the academy and seeing some unknown person breaking into the grounds, we tend to get defensive." he admitted. Though, he did feel a bit bad about treating her the way he did. Honestly though, he was very glad that he got to run into her and not be out hunting.
Hunter thought about that for a minute before answering her with a small shrug "You know, I really have no idea. A dozen...or more. I don't know." he laughs some, shaking his head and smiling down at her "One to many, I am told, though." Hatter thought a bit more about his hat collection. He is..well, obsessed with hats. He had no idea why though. But, looking at Rose with his hat still on, he could really get use to owning more and allowing the beautiful woman before him wearing them all.
He glanced around, noticing for the first time that the other hunters seemed to be glancing at the two of them. But, Hatter really wasn't one to really care what people thought, but he could see Rose seemed a bit uncomfortable "Sure. But, I rather we don't go outside. Even if we are inside of the academy walls." he said, standing up and holding a hand out to her to help her up "Obviously, if a human can break in.." he stopped the sentence and shook his head "Never mind. We can just walk around the academy itself."

Rose smiled at his apology, she understood now why he acted the way he did and she didn’t really care that he was harsh towards her. It was her fault as well as she had been just as harsh towards him as well. If she had of just explained who she was and why she was there then it might have been different but that was just how Rose was. She was very defensive, she had developed a hard skin after been on her own for so long. “No need to apologise, I should have just told you who I was and why is was here straight away, so I am sorry as well” she said and pushed the hat back a little bit as it had slipped down again. It really wasn’t her fault no body ever liked her, her brother had always been the popular one and she was always snickered at and shunned. She loved her brother but she also hated him for never letting her be friends with his crowd.
Changing the subject she asked Hunter how many hats he had all up and she smiled as she listened to him explain about his hat collection. She laughed quietly as he told her that people have told him that he had too many of them. She believed you could never had too many of something, take her for example, she had that many books at home she wasn’t sure how many she had in total anymore and many of those books she had read over twenty times, all the covers and the bindings were falling apart, but it was all she had, until now. “I can understand that, I’m not sure how many books if have and my brother is always telling me to get rid of them, but I don’t think I could bring myself to do it” she explained, hoping that it would make him feel as though he wasn’t the only one in the world with a large collection of something.
Soon she asked him if they could go for a walk outside as the continuous stares and hushed whispering from the other hunters in the room was making her feel a little uncomfortable, it was kind of making her feel as though she was an alien or something, like she didn’t belong there. It was true though, she wasn’t a hunter and she didn’t really belong in the Hunters Academy. Soon Hunter explained that he would rather not go outside and he would rather just walk around the academy. This was okay with Rose as she was curious to see what the rest of the Academy was like. Also she was extremely curious to see the rest of Hunters hat collection but she was just a little to shy to ask him if she could see it. She then took his hand and got up off the seat, as she got to her feet her chair made a loud scraping sound on the floor, making her blush.
Everyone would be looking at her now, all the whispering and conversation in the room had ceased and it felt as though a thousand pairs of eyes were on her. She felt as though she could have just ran out of the room and never looked back but she didn’t. She stayed by Hunters side as they slowly walked out of the mess hall and back into the quite hallway. She instantly felt better as she was now out of the rest of the Hunter’s vision, it was just her and Hunter now. Her curiosity about his hat collection returned it over whelmed her and she couldn’t stop the words that flew out of her mouth. “Would you show me the rest of your hat collection?” She asked blushing as she looked up at him. “That is of course if your allowed to have strange girls in your room” she said quickly after hoping to make light of the stupid question.
