ok, so this is totally a work in progress! ((oh and this is based on looks rather than acting skills)) Clary (why do you think I picked her for Shine, cuz I love The Mortal Instruments!)  Jace (it's a very popular choice, i know, but i've loved alex pettyfer forever! and I just can't get over how gorgeous he is!)  Alec (gotta love the smirk)  Simon (so, I know this one is a little odd, but for some reason I just kind of feel like it fits. I always see people pick really ugly guys for Simon. Why do people assume geeks have to be ugly???)  Jocelyn  Maryse  other than that, I don't really have any ones that I'm really attached to. |

I'm totally loving this. Completely. I love Molly Quinn as Clary, but I'd also throw out Alexz Johnson for good measure. A thogher Clary, really. Not as soft and sweet, ya know?  Alexz Johnson Love your Jace choice (Alex Pettyfer is gorgeous), I'm gonna toss another Alec one out there.  Gasparb Ulliel (he's got the dark hair and bright blue eyes like Alec does) I love the rest of your choices, but I'm gonna have to argue with your Simon choice. He just doesn't scream Simon to me. Found this guy on Cassandra Clare's site, but I fell in love with him, and there are actually pictures of him in glasses, so there is a reference to his Simon-ness.  Kristopher Turner No Issabelle, though. I'm hunting for her like crazy, but lacking epically. |

I like you're Simon. I'm not sure I ever got an entirely clear picture of him in my head. He was one of those characters that I liked, but I never completely saw a detailed face or anything. Isabelle is driving me crazy! I can't find anyone I think can even mildly pull her off! EDIT: ok, so I was just looking around Cassandra Clare's site and I have no idea what's going on because under -- the books there's like a 4th one! and I didn't think she was writing another one in MI series, I thought that she was going straight to the ID??? and like, i thought it was the box set, but it says book four on the cover??? what? www.mortalinstruments.com/mortalseries.html so I looked here and there's gonna be a 4th one?  omg, am I an idiot? OOOKKK! Edit time! So.... I'm totally gonna throw out a couple more suggestions. I noticed someone on here say something about watching the show Skins... I can't remember who it was, sorry, but as soon as I read that, my mind was like NICHOLAS HOULT COULD SOOO PLAY ALEC.... so here he is
