Juliette’s wardrobe is a bit unique. Though from far away she looks like any other quirky or rebelling teenager, if one was to pay careful attention to the items she wears they would notice she has this taste for foreign and vintage t-shirts and a sleuth of accessories.
Most of her shirts are scavenged from the local thrift store or good will while some others are bought from the internet and imported from Asia, mainly Japan. Though a great deal of her hoodies, which she only really wears loose boy hoodies by the way, are dark in color; she loves color and owns only a few black or dark colored shirts.
Juliette is also a skinny jean junkie. Black or jean wash, she might even have a neon pair somewhere, she has just about every type and style of skinny jean. Well, she also has some regular jeans and skirts but who cares about those when you could wear skinny jeans? Maybe that’s just Juliette.
Juliette is hardly ever seen without bracelets, she has an assortment, nor is she seen without at least one pair of large sunglasses. She knows most of the time she looks a bit odd with the over sized glasses on but she doesn’t mind really, she still likes them.
, general description
Juliette is a pretty girl but she would never call herself beautiful; but she loves it when a boy tells her that she is. She has a narrow jaw line that creates the base of her slim face. Her eyes are the main focus of her face; being large and almost out of proportion on her face. She also has a tendency to draw attention to them with her layers of black eye shadow and slick liquid eyeliner while providing no real attention to her soft, but pale lips and even paler cheeks.
Juliette is a smidgen over average height but only a smidgen, nothing else. She is a very thin girl, which is almost surprising since when she does eat it’s usually either fruit or an unnecessary amount of sugary candies and baked goods; a cherry lollipop is almost always a guaranteed to work bribe. She is also very pale, part of her lineage really, and her skin is very sensitive but is always soft to the touch.
There is not much of a difference between Juliette’s human appearance and her true, faerie appearance; she likes it that way. Juliette does in fact have such truly pale skin that is nearly translucent and has a silvery, shimmery undertone. The biggest difference is Juliette’s hands and her back.
Her fingers are long when glamoured but are even longer when unglamoured; having an additional knuckle and curving severely when laid flat. Her nail also takes a different look. The base of her nail turns deep burgundy and the color fades out into the ivory of the length of her nail.
The most drastic thing is Juliette’s wings. She has a small pair of wings, stunted from her human blood, that sprout from in between her shoulder blades. They have an appearance similar to a dragonflies and glimmer and shimmer green and blue in the light. Though they appear even more fragile than paper; she has learned through her lifetime that her wings can take a lot more than it looks like. [/ul]

, personality
Juliette is a generally a bright person. She is friendly; and is always willing to strike up a conversation with a stranger if she is not buried in a book or drowning herself in music. She does have a tendency to be very bold, if not arrogant. Juliette seems to have this endless amount of courage when it comes to boys, people, and adventures. She also has a vivid imagination which explains why she is often writing short stories and sketching; she's not afraid to share some of her ideas either.
She is not all rainbows and bright colors though. Juliette, as a half-blooded faerie, has come to know some of the rougher sides of life. She is often very blunt and judgmental; nor is she afraid to tell someone off when they irritating her and can even appear rude sometimes. She also has an addictive personality which is big trouble when she finds something not-so-good that she really likes and she can even be childish and selfish about such things. Juliette also has this thing where she enjoys the affection she gets from boys resulting in her string of hook ups and flirting. She has also a weakness for humans; being part human herself, she see's their frailty and doesn't always understand why so many faeries are vicious to them. Juliette does sometimes find herself irritated by the "stupidity" of humans and looks down upon them when truly in touch with her faerie side.
Don't be fooled though; while Juliette often appears very mature and intelligent she does have a childish side. Many times she acts irrationally and impulsively. When confronted with her fears or with some sort of conflict she will show her immature side. She will avoid conflict at all costs and ignore it or she will act like a small child when her fears are breathed into life. Also her impulsive behavior often leads to frustrated break downs; screaming and something that could be considered a tantrum. Mixing her childish behavior with her bold persona is a cocktail for disaster and usually never ends up well.
Juliette; though friendly; often pushes people away when all she really wants is someone to care for her. She has this habit of pushing the buttons of and hurting the people she cares about and loves most in a way to get some form of a reaction from them. Often it takes her being threatened and screamed at for her to realize what she's doing to others and truly letting them in and see a softer, more honest side of her. [/ul]

Nova was not a typical faerie; she had everyone worried and disgusted all at once with her fasciations for humans. Nova spent much of her time with sweet tooth’s and pushing slowly farther and farther into Ironside. Her husband, Diathi was worried that as Nova was off mingling with humans and avoiding her husband and their son, she would find a human lover. No one was sure if they should call Diathi smart or unfortunate when his fears became reality.
Nova had fallen in love with Daniel; they had both shared a love for literature and soon that become a love for one another. He was a sighted human, he had known from when she first spoke to him what she was but it seemed not to matter. Nova was frightened though; she knew how Diathi would most likely kill the unborn child as it was not his so Nova fled to Ironside to marry her human lover.
Juliette was born in Ironside. She grew like normal children did; laughing, crying, jumping, falling, hitting, hugging, and finding themselves but one thing was different. Nova had off the bat explained to Juliette what she really was; not faerie but not human either. Her mother had taught her how to keep her nature secret from both sides of her blood. Juliette of course thought this is what every kid have to do so she would sit in the back of class playing a mind game with herself while guessing what everyone really was.
Nova had always forbade Juliette to ever ask about the Faerie world and where her mother had come from and she was never, ever, to go there. Maybe it was that “never ever” that made Juliette long to visit the Faeries. Whatever it was, when she was thirteen she snuck out to the Reveling Grounds.
She felt almost freed as she walked unglamoured among other Faeries. She didn’t really notice that other Faeries noticed how she was not really one of their kind. Juliette had been too mesmerized by what was going on around her and enticed by the faerie food to even notice where she was going.
The first time Juliette met Soren, she had literally ran into him. She still is not sure how she knew, but she knew at that instance that he was her brother. The faerie was six years her senior and all he did was stare at her at first. It was almost as if neither of them could believe who each other were.
Soren nearly tore Juliette’s wings from her back as he dragged her screaming and thrashing across the ground. Needless to say, sibling rivalry was marked upon first meeting.
Juliette never told Nova of how she had met her half-brother and then they fought before he threw her from the Reveling Grounds. She didn’t speak much for a long time after that but soon her fear of him only became hatred. The older Juliette became, the more time she spent split between Ironside and Faerie. The few times Soren and Juliette ran into each other after their first meeting sent silent anger and cold looks through the air.
When Juliette was sixteen her parents moved from the residential streets of Nevermore to an apartment above their newly bought restaurant. Juliette actually discovered she enjoyed living on Light Street and she found The Moving Forest to be a sort of haven where she spoke with many late sipping and sandwich chewing customers about interesting topics in the news or about literature and music; she even met some of her friends and ex boyfriend there.
Juliette spends her days between school and The Moving Forest where she often is found reading when she is not even working while her nights are spent eating faerie foods and getting drunk on faerie while giggling with sweet tooth’s and faeries.
As Juliette rises upon her eighteenth birthday, she begins to search for herself, discover the difference between her lustful affections and her want for love, while she also tries to discover what it truly means to be a half-blood.

Juliette giggled and then pressed her lips against the faeries lips. She let her fingers gently brush down his bare chest before she pulled away and giggled again. She fluttered her dark lashes and dashed away.
She was drunk on faerie wine; her silvery skin covered in a prickling feeling as she felt the tall wheat brush her bare calves. She laughed and glanced over her shoulder to see the faerie boy pursing her; just as drunk as she was.
A mischievous glint glittered in her eyes before she dropped into the wheat, the field completely hiding her. Juliette covered her full lips with her delicate hand and did her best to muffle her giggle. She stared up, eyes focusing on the stars above. They glittered and danced and their shine seemed to sing in her head.
The singing heavens were interrupted when the faerie dropped down beside her and their duet of laughter filled the empty field. He pushed himself up onto his elbows and looked down at her. He smiled and brushed a few strands of her black hair out of her face. The faerie kissed her then pulled away. Juliette adverted her eyes back to the stars.
"Do you think their watching us?" she asked in a thoughtful tone as the boy let his hands run down her thin sides.
"Who?"
"The stars." Juliette had a far off look as she studied the stars. He rolled over slightly to look up at the night sky as well, he was then mesmerized by their beauty too. She looked at him; admiring the thoughtful look on his young, attractive face before grinning and kissing his sun kissed cheekbone. A smile spread across his face and he then looked back down at her. They kissed softly again as Juliette teased him with her fingertips.
They drunkenly giggled and laughed in the empty field while they shared each other with another.
