Giant paws padded the ground as the large orange and black beast walked amongst the trees. There was no one around all he could hear were the sounds of nature around him. He loved wandering through the woods at night, there was nothing there that could bother him, since he was a tiger after all and many things in the woods were scared of him. If they knew who he really was then they wouldn’t have any need to be frightened of him, he was just a big pussy cat after all. George had been away from home for about three days, just wandering and getting in some human time. His mistress Elise didn’t know that he could actually turn into a man, she thought he was just a normal everyday tiger. It seemed to be going alright so far, so George decided to just keep it that for now. When he felt the time was right to reveal his human side to her then he would, but until then he would just keep leaving her for a few days and return her none the wiser.
He was feeling pretty tired now and he felt it was probably better that he returned to his mistresses side now. He knew she hated it when he left for days at a time. Since he was just a normal tiger in her eyes every time she asked him where he had gone all he could do was look at her. He knew that one day he would have to tell her that he was also part human but he just didn’t think it was the right time. Also he feared that once he revealed to her that he wasn’t just a normal tiger and that he had been lying to her this whole time she wouldn’t like him any more and she would send him away. He didn’t think he would be able to live without her. He need her, she was his life force, his soul without her he was weak and would surely die. He should have just told her from the beginning that he was in fact a Were, why he didn’t he wasn’t sure. It was too late now the damage was done and now he had to live with the consequences that would surely follow.
Sighing he turned around he headed back for civilisation. Even though he was a monstrous tiger, brightly colours and strangely large he was very good at not being seen by anyone, especially humans. For some reason they just didn’t use their eyes good enough. Which was a good thing for him, as he need not try hard to get past them. Even if they did get a glance in at him, by the time they whipped around for a second glance he was alright safely concealed in the shadows. It amused him to know that they were standing there contemplating if they were crazy or not. Pitiful humans were so much fun, so easily manipulated. Soon coming to the edge of the woods he looked around, the street seemed deserted. Stepping out on the footpath he walked causally down towards his home were Elise was surely waiting for him. He made sure to stay away from the light pouring down from the streetlamps. His green eyes flashing in the darkness.
Usually he wanders through peoples back yards jumping the low fences separating the yards, it was safer and a lot darker there, less chance of being seen. Cutting around the road he jumped over the fence and started walking through the deserted backyards. He looked around at everything, it all look familiar to him, up a head there was this one house where a little blonde girl lived, George wasn’t sure how old she was or what her name was but he usually stopped off there for a few minutes to looking in her bedroom window, sometimes she even opened the window and feed him her choc chip cookies and gave him a pat behind the ear. He wasn’t sure why he let this little girl see him or even touch him for that matter, there was just something about her. Coming up to her yard he jumped the fence and wandered of to the window and peered in. She was asleep tonight, feeling slightly disappointed he sighed and continued on hi way.
Finally he was at his own backyard and he jumped the fence and wondered up to the back door and pushed on it with his shoulder it was closed, Elise must not have been expecting him home as she usually leaves the back door open for him. Oh well, he found a nice spot on the porch and sat down with a great huff. He rested his head down on his paws and closed his large green eyes. He didn’t fall asleep right away but just lied there listening to all the sounds around him, the crickets chirping the cars that drove pass, and an owl in a tree a few backyards away occasionally hooting. After way seemed many hours of just laying that awake he finally feel asleep. He didn’t dream it was just black inside his mind, just the way he liked it, he hated dreaming, another thing he likes about being a tiger all the time, you left all those horrible human traits behind.

Elsie had sat there on the back porch, with an over sized hoodie on and shorts with a tank-top under the hoodie. She had been waiting on George to come back, he had been gone so far for three days and she was starting to get worried about him. If he didn't show up tomorrow, she was going to go out looking for him, she just wanted to know if he is okay and not hurt or even trapped. The girl sat there in a chair, with one leg pulled up and the other bent, laying under her. Elsie rested her chin on top of her knee, with her arms loosely wrapped around the one leg. She figured she should just try to go to sleep, there wasn't a point in staying up if he wasn't going to come back tonight.
Sighing, Elsie reluctantly got up from the chair and made her way inside. She shut the door completely shut behind her, even though she usually did leave it unlock. But she felt that maybe tonight he wasn't going to show up and if he did..well, she was sure no one would come trying to break into their house, seeing as they'd find George there on the back porch. Running a hand through her hair, she moved her way slowly towards her bedroom. Elsie glanced around the empty room, it always felt so empty without the big tiger there to fill it up and give it warmth that she always enjoyed. Clenching her eyes shut as she felt the burn of tears, she took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, before opening her eyes and shutting her bedroom door behind her and climbing into bed.
Elsie curled up on her side, hugging a pillow to her as she snuggled against it, it had George's scent on it, making it a bit better to fall asleep. She felt herself starting to slip off into sleep until she heard a noise, like something going against the back door. Elsie popped her eyes open and intently listened closely to all the noises around her. It was quiet, except for the sounds of things outside. Frowning a bit, she sighed and rolled out of bed and just had to go check to make sure it wasn't George laying out there on the porch.
The girl padded barefoot through the house to the back door and peeped out the window and found a smile spreading across her face as she saw the oh so familiar tiger lying there on the porch. Elsie jerked the door open and dropped to her knees to wrap her arms around his neck and hugging him to her "Oh George!" she said excitedly, feeling tears burn in her eyes again. Elsie kissed the top of his head repeatedly, hugging him over and over.

George was only asleep for a few seconds when he opened his eyes again. Who was he kidding he knew he couldn’t sleep with Elise. Hence the reason he stayed awake the whole time he was gone, he knew he was tired but he just couldn’t sleep with out her. He looked around the dark backyard and sighed, maybe he should make a loud noise out here, to wake her up and let his presences known. No, then he would feel bad for waking her. Taking a deep breath in, his huge chest expanding, he exhaled and it lowered again. He closed his eyes again just of the sake of it knowing that sleep wasn’t ever going to come, whilst he laid on the back porch. Not to worry the sun would be up soon and Elise would sure come out here at some point. She would then find him and let him in the house. He couldn’t wait to see her again, it had been so long., he wished he didn’t have to go away for so long, but it was for his own wellbeing.
He drifted off into his own little world thinking about all the good times he had spent with Elise and he thought about how lucky he was to have her as a mistress. He couldn’t ask for anyone better, he was hers forever and she was his. Nobody could take her away from him, not now not ever he would kill anyone that tried to take her from him. So caught up in his own little world he didn’t even hear her bare footsteps on the wooden floors inside the house. He didn’t even hear her open the door. He was whirled back into reality when he felt her around come around his neck and her kisses on the top of his head. His gave a playful growl as she said his name and continued to hug and kiss his head. Happiness ran through his body as she held him, he felt as thought he could zoom around the backyard roaring as loud as he could, waking up all the neighbours and have them wondering what the hell was going on, that would be funny.
But of course he didn’t do that if he did they would surely have the police at their front door questioning Elise about why she had a tiger in her back yard. Instead he just rolled over onto his back and exposed his belly for her to rub, he loved it when she did that. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her, she was just so beautiful and he was so happy that she had come outside to see if he was here. Now he would be able to curl up next to her on her bed and keep her warm and safe all night. He had missed her so much and just having her arms around him right now was enough to send him to the moon. If only he wasn’t such a scaredy cat and told her about his human side he night be able to feel what it is like to hold her in his human arms. That is even she wants him around after he tells her this, maybe is was better not telling her at all. He let out another playful growl and shook his large head, excitedly.

Elsie closed her eyes, inhaling the scent of the male tiger in her arms as she buried her face into his fur. She had missed him so much that it was hard to not let the tears roll down her face. Pulling away a bit to stare down at him, her smile just grew wider when her rolled over onto his back, exposing his belly to her "Okay okay." she said, a small laugh coming from her lips as she rubbed his belly with both hands, knowing that this was a favorite of his.
A content sigh left her lips, as she kept rubbing his belly. Those emotions and feelings she had been felling lately were coming full-force to her right now. Elsie really didn't understand if these emotions and feelings towards George were more than what she thought of them to be. She knew she loves him, but is it the same love she gives towards her family..or is it something else. Shoving the thoughts aside, she looked towards George's head and smiled happily down at him.
"I'm so glad you are back, George." she said softly, leaning down and kissing his nose gently before standing up "Come on. Let's go inside." she said to him, as she opened the back door, holding it open for him to enter into the house.

As Elise started rubbing his belly a soft purr sounded in his throat. He never purred unless she was rubbing his belly. He was a big softy when it came to her, he was buckle under the pressure and do whatever it was she wanted of him. Especially if he knew he was going to get a belly rub afterwards. He knew that he was in love with her and it killed him to lie to her about who he really was but he was just so scared. He looked at her and mentally frowned as he could feel that she was troubled by something. It could be just because he had been gone for so long or it was something that he didn’t fully understand yet. He wished he could just say something to her anything to make her feel better.
Hearing her tell him that she was glad that he was back he let out another happy growl just to let her know that he was happy to be back as well. He closed his eyes for a second as she kissed his nose and rolled back over as she got to her feet. He then got to his feet and shook himself off and walked through the door that she held open for him. His eyes scanned the house just making sure that nothing was out of the ordinary, taking a deep breath in he took in all the familiar scents searching for any that weren’t suppose to be there, it was just something he did every time he came back from his little outings. You never know if something is hiding in the darkness. He would protect Elise even if it meant his life over hers.
Walking into the lounge room and jumped onto the couch and rolled around for a moment leaving his scent on the fabric. Since he has been gone it had died away a little bit and he had to make his scent strong again, just to let strangers now that it was his territory and not to even think about taking over it. He was very protective of Elise and he didn’t like stranger near her, he sometimes felt threatened by others, thinking that someone was going to come along and be better then him and take his place by her side. He would just not let that happen, not in this lifetime anyway. Jumping back off the couch he walked back of to where Elise was and pressed himself against her, not wanting to leave her side ever again. But he knew he had to.

Elsie shut the door behind them as she walked through the house with George at her side. She watched him, as he moved into the lounge room and jumped up onto the couch. Elsie covered her mouth with her hand as she laughed softly at him rolling around, no doubt putting his scent on the furniture again. A smile spread across her face as she let her hand drop to her side and he moved to her side, she rubbed the top of his head "You never have to worry about another animal taking your place, George." she said softly.
"Come on, big fella." she told him, as she moved away from the lounge and to her bedroom once more. Elsie pushed the door open a bit more for him to walk in. She shut the door behind them quietly and moved to the bed to get herself comfortable before patting the mattress for George to get up on there with her. She knew she'd be able to really sleep now with him at her side and not having her mind going crazy over whether or not he is hurt or worse...killed.

Waiting a Elsie’s side he looked up at her and lent against her side as she rubbed his huge head. He closed his eyes as her words entered his ears, they twitched slightly letting her know that he was listening. He knew that she would never replace him being a oblivious to the fact that he is actually a human as well as a tiger. But if she was ever to find out about that little fact he wasn’t so sure. If he was ever to tell her that he wasn’t what she thought he was then some other tiger or animal of the like might be rolling around on her couch covering up George’s scent with its own. It made him angry to think about so he pushed the thought away.
He opened his eyes again as she beckoned him forward. He knew that they were going to go to bed and the thought of lying down on her comfy bed next to her made an uncontrollable growl sound in his throat. He always got excited when it came to bed time. Because he got to lay on a comfy bed and also he got to have her snuggling against him. It more so the snuggling then anything else that made him excited. As she walked off towards the bedroom he gave a last glance around the living room just to make sure that there wasn’t anything that wasn’t suppose to be. Feeling satisfied he turned and caught up to his mistress.
He rubbed his head against her legs as he walked into the room and sat down on the floor at the end of the bed. For some reason he never got on there before she did. He always waited for her to get comfy then invite him one. It was weird but it was a habit he just couldn’t break. He heard her close the door and he watched her with his big green eyes as she walked around the bed and got comfy. He waited for her invitation to join her. When it came he couldn’t get onto the bed quick enough. Her bed was large so the both had plenty of room. He did a full circle on his side before he plonked down next to her.

Elsie watched him as he did circles on the bed before plonking down next to her. A small giggle left her lips as she snuggled up against him, draping an arm over his chest and gently rubbing his belly. The girl rest her head his, staring into the darkness of her bedroom. The thoughts still whirled around her head of what George could possibly be doing when he disappears. A small sigh left her lips, as she closed her eyes and snuggled a bit against him "I wish you didn't have to disappear for so long." she murmured, yawning a bit "Maybe if you were able to tell me where you go or what you do, I might not worry so much." she said softly.
The human part of Elsie wished that he was like her, a werecat. Of course, the animal part of her was very happy to have him just the way he is. Though she loves being in her tiger form, she does like her human form just as much. She wasn't sure if she could really stay in her tiger form forever. Another small yawn slipped from her lips as she kept her eyes closed, starting to feel the sleep coming over her "I love you George. I hope nothing bad ever happens to you." she murmured, before drifting off to sleep.

George was instantly comfortable and he felt as though he could drift right off to sleep with out any worries at all. It was fantastic, he felt on top of the world. He loved the feeling he got when he returned to his mistress after days of not being around. She always just so welcoming and so excited to see that he is back. He loved that feeling.. Of being loved. He was addicted to her love and everything else about her. She then snuggled in close to him and he sighed but it would have just sounded like a low groan in his throat. He closed his eyes taking in her scent with big deep breaths. She then spoke and his eyes flickered open again.
A new emotion swept over him as he listened to her words. It killed him inside knowing that what he put her through when he left for days at a time was murderous for her. He wished he didn’t have to leave at all and just stay with her forever. Well if he just told her what was really going on with him, she knew be happy about it and not want to send him away and he could stay with her forever. But he was still unsure, he didn’t want her to send him away and replacing him with a non-lying tiger that doesn’t need to leave her, ever! It wasn’t far why hadn’t he just told her straight away. He needed to learn to stop beating himself up.
He closed his eyes again and shifted his position to what he thought was the most comfortable. Once he was in that position he would be in it all night, so no chance of rolling over and hurting Elsie in her sleep. Finally bring his fidgeting to a stand still she said something then at made his heart stop and then start beating against his rib cage like it wanted out. She always told him that she loved him, but this time there was just something different with the way she said it to him. She loved him not like he was family but something else. He had been feeling that for her the moment he had met her and now she feels it too?
Since he couldn’t say anything back in return because tigers don’t talk, he just nudged her softly against her arm and closed his eyes. He was the happiest were tiger in the world, and he would argue with anyone that tried to tell him different. Sleep took him and he instantly began to dream about her and him together both as humans and she was smiling and laughing with him and he was holding her in his arms and kissed her lips. She was happy with the fact that he was human as well as tiger. He needed to tell her and just wait and see what happens. He prey that she wouldn’t hate him for keeping such a secret from him.
His eyes flicked open and there was soft light coming in through the cracks in the curtains. It must have been the wee hours of the morning where the sun was just coming up making everything look pink. He could feel that Elsie was still next to him he could feel her body against his, he could feel her chest rising and falling with every breath she took. She was sleeping soundly and he didn’t want to move as if he did she would surely know and wake up, he didn’t want her to wake up just yet as she needed her sleep. So he just laid there looking down at her. Soon she would wake and she’ll make him something to eat for breakfast.

Elsie slept soundly with George lying there in bed with her. She felt safe and content once more with him near and close to her. She had found herself having that same dream again, where she and George are running together in tiger form then change and not only is she human, but he is too. And every time, she can never clearly make out his features, but she knows she loves him and he feels the same. And every time she would wake up, her heart would be pounding and her hand would search out to feel the thick warm fur belonging to George.
Elsie lay there with her eyes opened and curling up against his back. She felt once more the sting of tears prickling at the back of her eyes and she forced them back. Taking in a deep breath, she pushes herself up and looks down at George, smiling seeing that he was awake as well "Good morning, George." she said softly, as she leaned down to kiss him on the head and rolled out of bed to yawn and stretch "Are you hungry?" she asked, with a small tilt of her head as she moved towards the bedroom door, opening it and heading out towards the kitchen. She reached the back door to open it a jar in case he needed to go outside.
Elsie sighed softly, as she moved towards the fridge and pulling out eggs and steaks and moving over to the stove. She began to work on fixing them both a yummy breakfast, humming softly to herself as she worked.

Looking around the dimly lit room and knew that Elise would soon be getting up and he would have to get up as well. There was nothing more in the world he would rather have then just to lie there with her forever. But he knew that could never be. From behind him he could feel her stirring and in no time at all she sat up and look down at him. He gave a small grumble in response to her good morning. He closed his eyes as she came down to kiss him on the head. Instantly he thought what it would be like to kiss her on the lips, as a human, but the thoughts gave him a guilt punch to the heart and he pushed them away. He had kept the little fact that he could take the form of a human from her for a long time, he didn’t deserve to kiss her.
He felt her leave the bed and her words entered his listeners. The thought of food made his stomach do a back flip and he jumped from the bed and stretched and gave a large yawn. Once he was straightened up and all yawned out he caught a glimpse of her as she past through the door. The thought of being away from her for only a second was just too much and he bounded out of the room after her. He reached the kitchen and out of habit walked straight to the back door that was like away open just a little bit for him. The cool morning around ruffed his fur as he walked across the back yard and to the spot behind the garden shed where he usually did his business. He could hear the little girl playing a few house up.
By the time he finished his business and walked out from behind the shed he could smell eggs and beef on the air. She had already started to cook. He strode across the lawn and slipped in the back door and pushed it closed with the top of his head and jumped up onto the stool that Elise had gotten specially made for him so he could sit at the breakfast bar with her. He loved her so much and it was the small things that she always did for him that made him so protective and loving of her. She was his only friend and the only person in the world that he had ever loved. He didn’t even love his parents as much as he loved her. Today had to be the day that he told her his little secret. It just had to be today, he couldn’t let it go any longer.
But how to do it was the question, he didn’t just want to change and have her turn around and see him that would scare the hell out of her. No, he had to do it casually so that she didn’t freak out and think that some guy had just broke into her house. He would have to slip out of the house after breakfast and change and then come to the door like a normal person. Would she know it was him straight away of would she just think him to be a stranger at her door. As he sat there and thought about it he realised that the only thing that didn’t change when he morphed was his eyes, they were the same in human form and in tiger form. Would she recognise him by that? Was today the day that she would never want him around again? Was today the day he lost her forever, because of his own selfishness?

Elsie glanced over her shoulder to see George disappear out of the back door. She smiled slightly, as she turned back towards the stove and continued to cook their breakfast. She knew it always make extra's for George, being a full grown tiger, he tended to eat a lot more than she did. Of course, she ate just about almost as much as he did most days. That small little thought made her laugh a little bit to herself. Elsie shook her head a bit, the smile staying upon her lips.
Hearing the door shut, she turned a bit to see George back inside and hopping up onto the stool that she got specially made just for him. Just so the male tiger could eat at the breakfast bar with her when they ate. Turning back towards the stove once more, she grabbed a couple plates and loaded George's up with a couple steaks and eggs before setting it aside as she loaded up with own plate with pretty much the same amount. Elsie grabbed their plates and moved over to the little bar and sat his plate down before him "There ya go." she said softly, with a smile as she patted his head and sat her own plate down.
The girl sat down on her own stool across from George and began to eat her breakfast. Her mind sort of wandered a bit to the dream that she had before she woke up. It was the same dream she had been having for..well..a long time. Maybe ever since she first realized how much she loves George, but won't admit to herself how much she really does.
Blinking a few times, Elise realized she had ate everything without even realizing it. Shaking her head a bit, she grabbed up her plate and silverware and placed them all in the dishwasher and began to clean up around the stove and counters a bit before turning around and leaning back against the counter, crossing her arms a bit over her chest as she watched George, with a small smile to her lips.

The smell of Elsie’s cooking entered his nostrils and his stomach growled. He loved her cooking and would eat anything she put in front of him. Not because he was a tiger and tigers ate almost everything but because she always made excellent food, and there wasn’t anything she couldn’t make that he would enjoy. Soon she walked over and placed a plate full to the brim of food in front of him and she say down next to him with her own plate. Instantly he began to eat it all, his stomach was doing back flips as the delicious food filled him up. Before he knew it he was finished and was liking the plate clean. He looked up to see that she had finished all of her food as well and she had just as much food on her plate as he did, she did him proud when it came to food and how much she could eat.
As she got up and placed her dishes in the washer he continued to lick the plate, even though there wasn’t anything left on it. It was just something he did all the time, he had to make sure that there wasn’t anything left behind. Looking up from the plate he noticed that Elsie had stopped cleaning and was now leaning against the bench just looking at him. If tigers could blush he would be right now. She always made him feel like that every time she just stopped doing something and started looking at him. It wasn’t a bad thing he loved it when she did it. He only wished he could just do the same thing and make her blush once and a while. It would be nice to share other things with her that only a person could do. Looking down at the plate he left out a small grumbled that would have been a burp if he were human.
Jumping off the stool he picked the plate up gentle in his mouth and walked over to the dishwasher and with his right paw he carefully pulled back the washers door and placed the plate in the rack and pushed the door closed again with his head. Even though he was in his tiger form 90 per cent of the time he still could do some things that a normal tiger couldn’t do. They would spend their whole lives trying to learn to do what he just done. It was some of the things that he did that worried him, would Elsie being to become suspicious about him because of the things he did that there was no possible way a normal tiger could no how to do? It didn’t matter anyway, because it was all going to be out in the open very soon. Soon she was going to know why he could do the things he could do. He only hoped it was the right thing to do.
After putting his own dishes away he looked up at Elsie and gave out a loud huff, just to let her know that he was appreciative of the food and he was full as he was ever going to get. Although it wouldn’t take him long to feel hungry again and by then it would be lunch time and she would be making him something to eat again. That was another time, he would so like to be able to make her food for once, just once, or even more times then that, if all things went well after he reveals his secret then maybe just maybe he would be able to cook her dinner and breakfast for once. Looking away from Elsie he thought about how he should tell her. He had come to the conclusion earlier that he was going to disappear and then arrive at her place in his human form. He was still pretty sure that, that was going to be the best way to go about things.
Giving her a soft nudge with his head he strode past her and entered the lounge room again and jumped onto the couch and started rolling around. Just to make sure that his scent was well and truly on there, just in case he was never able to do it again. She would still have something to remind her of him when he was gone. If she was ever to replace him then they would have a hard time covering up his scent with there own that was for sure. After a few minutes he stopped and shook himself off and walked back into the kitchen and walked over to the back door and sat down next to it and looked over to Elsie again. She needed to open the door so that he could go outside again. This time he wasn’t going out there to do his business this time he was going out there to disappear and soon return as someone else, someone she didn’t really know all the well.

Elsie watched as the tiger jumped down from the stool and brought his plate over to the dish washer, opened the door and put the dish in there before shutting the door again. She let out a small laugh, as she shook her head at him "You surprise me all the time." she told him with a smile, as she petted him on the head. God, how she loved this tiger more than the world itself. She'd do anything to protect him and keep him safe and she was sure that he knew how much he meant to her too. Why else would he stick around and come back after a few days like he always did? Those few days where she felt as if she were missing a part of herself. But, she couldn't just make him stay. If he ever wanted to leave and never come back, she would let him. Though it would kill her, she would let him if that is what would make him happy.
Putting the thoughts away, she smiled down at George as he nudged her before he trotted off to the living room. She laughed, as she heard him getting on the couch and then rolling around. He was always making sure his scent was everywhere within the house. He seemed to be protective of her as well and she loved that greatly. Elsie smiled even more as he came back into the kitchen and sat there by the back door "Need to go outside?" she asked, as she walked over to the door and opened it for him. Elsie pushed the screen door open and stepped outside herself.
The girl let out a yawn as she stretched on the back porch. Maybe she would change forms, maybe they could go running together. But, she'd let him do his business first then, as always, she'd ask him. Though she knew he couldn't speak, she felt that whatever noise he made meant that he would want to do with her.

Soon she walked over and asked if he needed to go outside. The answer was yes but not for what she thought. She opened the door and he waited for her to go out first and he slowly followed her out. While she stayed on the porch having a stretch he continued down onto the lawn and looked around taking everything in, just in case this was the last time he ever saw it. If things didn’t go to plan today he was going to miss this place very much. He didn’t know how he would live without Elsie, perhaps this was a bad idea. No, he had to do this, it wasn’t right lying to Elsie especially after everything she had done for him. Taking a deep breath he looked back to her on the porch and gave her one last look through his tiger eyes and slowly turned his head away from her and eyed the back fence. Lucky for him there wasn’t a house there just a vacant lot with some trees and long grass. Slowly he walked over to it and jumped up and landed on top, it swayed slightly under his weight, looking back on last time he hopped of and landed on the ground.
Once over the other side of the fence he darted he darted out and headed for his secret hiding place. It was where he went to change forms and put some clothes on. It was a little ways down the vacant lot. He was completely out of sight when he jumped up into a large tree. Once in the branch he shifted and started to climb up the branches soon he came across a metal chest that was completely hidden from view with shaky hands he opened it up and pulled out some clothes and got dress he slipped on a pair of fade blue jeans and a plain black shirt. He slipped a pair of black socks on and a pair of old Dunlop Volleys. Sighing he started to climb down the tree again and landed on the ground with a thump. He walked along the quiet street behind Elsie’s just thinking his heart beating a million miles a minute. He was really going to do this and there was no backing out of it now. Walking around the corner into Elsie’s street he slipped his hands into his pockets and headed towards her house. Silently he prey that she would know who he was.
Getting closer to her house he stopped and examined his human face in a parked car’s window. He had only ever seen his human face a couple of times and to be truthfully honest he wasn’t completely fond of it, but you couldn’t win then all could you? The only thing that look remotely like his tiger-self was his eyes, they were the same green. Would she recognise them? He didn’t know but there was only one way to find out. Stepping away from the car he continued walking to her house. Swallowing the lump in his throat he walked up the driveway and stopped at the front door. He could smell her and his tiger scent all over the property and it made him even more nervous. Taking a deep breath and rubbing his sweaty palms on his jeans he closed his eyes for a moment. After a few seconds he opened them and lifted his hand and rapped on the front door and stepped back turning his back on the door. His heart stopped whilst waiting for her.
