Elsie stood there on the the back porch. She watched George as he looked around the yard and then looked back at her. She smiled softly at him, he looked just so right there in her backyard, but yet, she would never tell him that he had to stay confined to the back yard only. Even though her family made sure she had plenty of area for the both of them, she would never take away the freedom to roam about everywhere else that he wanted to go.
Sighing softly, she watched as he moved towards the fence then jumped on top of it. She frowned a bit, a little confused as to what he was doing "George..?" she said softly, as she took a few steps off the porch and onto the ground. When he jumped off and went running off, she felt her heart sink into her stomach. He had only just gotten back last night. Why would he want to go running off again? Elsie felt the urge deep inside of her to change quickly and go running off to find him. She could probably track his scent and find him, but, she didn't really own him.
Feeling a pain starting to throb in her chest, Elsie felt the burn of tears in the back of her eyes. She hugged herself, as she stood there, staring at the spot of the fence that he had just been at. As she thought more about going after him, she heard the knocking on her front door and let out a breath, and closed her eyes for a moment. She wondered a bit who it could be and sighed, as she opened her eyes and made her way slowly through her home to the front door. Taking in a small breath, Elsie opened the door and looked at the back of a man standing on her porch "Can I help you?"

Standing there he listened inside the house, soon he could hear the footsteps of Elsie coming towards the door and the pounding of his heart started to make him feel sick. Soon the front door opened and she asked if she could help him. Her voice sounded to beautiful through his human ears and he felt as though he was going to cry. He didn’t want to loose her, please please let her know him and not hate him. Slowly he turned around his head down and his eyes on the old wooden porch, he cleared his throat and looked up at her and his eyes connected with hers and he instantly saw that she had been crying. He straight away that she was saddened by his sudden leave and felt even worse then he already did.
“Hello Elsie, my name is Ge… Um Reusol… You don’t know me but I know you” he said stuffing his hands into his pockets again and breaking the eye contact that they were briefly sharing. There was a roll of thunder and he bit the inside of his mouth as he didn’t really like thunder in his tiger form and since he was in it so much it kind of rubbed of on his human form as well. He didn’t know what to do next. She was going to think he was some kind of stalker saying what he had said. Perfect she was going to think he was a weirdo that watched her at night. So not what he wanted her to think. Oh well he had said it now nothing he could do about it now. This was a very bad idea but it had to be done.

Elsie stood there, waiting for the man to turn around to face her. When he did, his head was bent down and she frowned just a bit, wondering why he wasn't looking at her. Of course, he eventually did and she was a bit stunned when their eyes connected and she saw the green eyes that she only knew of one person..well, tiger ever having. George she thought and felt a pain stab right through her chest again. But Elsie made sure that she was composed, she didn't know this guy, she couldn't explain to him what was wrong.
Though, she was a bit taken aback when he said her name and gave his own. She tilted her head a bit to the side, the name didn't ring a bell and she was sure she had never seen this man before. Maybe there was another Elsie around that she didn't know that this guy was looking for "Um, I'm sorry. But, how can you know me, when I don't know who you are." she said. But she was being a bit nice about it.

George noticed that she was a little taken back by his eye contact and he watched her and waited for her reaction after he spoke her name and telling her that he knew her. How was he going to explain how he knew her but she didn’t know him. This was crazy, a mistake. He shouldn’t have done this. She wasn’t going to believe him, even if he did tell her how he knew her. He swallowed the lump in his throat and tried to slow his heart rate, unfortunately it was being disobedient and didn’t want to do what George wanted it to. How was he going to tell her.
“This might sound a little weird but for a long time I have actually been living with you” oh god that sounded even more creepy then the last thing he said. This was one of the reasons he didn’t like being in human form he never managed to say the right thing. As a tiger he didn’t have to worry about saying things at all and that kept him out of trouble. This was going to get bad and fast. He hoped that she didn't yell at him, he didn't do to well with being yelled at and it coming from her would break his heart. This was something he never wanted to do, he never wanted to be the reason she raised her voice.

Okay. So this day was just starting to become weird. The only other thing living with her was George and he is a tiger. Elsie shook her head. But, of course, there was a tiny voice in the back of her head saying 'look at his eyes!' and of course, the girl couldn't help herself but to stare at them. It was making her feel very unsure about everything. How could this guy have those same, beautiful green eyes that she knew George to only have. And then for him to say that he knows her, but she doesn't know him. And that he has actually been living with her for a long time. It wasn't possible.
But as Elsie stood there before this man, her mind began to wonder. She never once consider that George would be or even could be part human. She never saw a sign that he was. Yea, okay, so the tiger happened to do some strange things at times that made her wonder, but she never once questioned it. She figured he watched her do it many times, so why not pick it up himself. Crossing her arms over her chest, Elsie frowned at the man and stood her ground there in the doorway "That isn't possible. I live alone." except for my tiger, of course. but she left that part out. God, she wished George was here. Then maybe this guy would go away.

George stuffed his hands into his pockets. She was thinking he was crazy he just knew it. This wasn’t going the way he wanted it to. Damn fool, should have just stayed a tiger and be done with it. But he couldn’t ignore the feeling he had now that he was standing there in front of her in his human form for the first time ever. Her words sense of course, she didn’t live with another person exactly. He looked to the ground for a moment and then back up, his eyes catching hers again. A small smirk spread across his lip, he didn’t know why he was smile, as he was scared shitless. But he had a feeling that things where going to be alright, even if she does turn his away when she realises that he was who he was. His conscience would be clear, at last.
“If only that were true” he said and shifted his position as his feet where going numb, from hardly ever having to stand on them they weren’t used to being used. “I know that you have a tiger here, by the name of George. And I also know that he isn’t what he seems” he explained swallowing the lump in his throat. “I know this because I am George, he is me" he said and bit the inside of his lip as he waited for her to comprehend what he had just said. He knew it was a little straight forward, yes but it was the only way he could say it and have to understand. But there was always the chance that she didn’t believe him and that he was just crazy. He hoped that wasn’t the way she thought.

Elsie felt her heart stop for a few seconds as the man's words rang through her ears no.. she thought and knew the shock was plain on her face and eyes as she just stood there, frozen in the doorway. It was impossible. George isn't a human, he was a full tiger and nothing more. At least, that was what her mind kept repeating over and over. But as she stood there staring at him, staring into those green eyes that she knew so well, that she had come to admiring seeing every time she woke up in the morning. Her mind kept telling her it's impossible, but she herself happened to be impossible to most people.
Elsie closed her eyes, as she shook her head a bit "N-no.." she choked out, as she opened her eyes and looked up at the man again. She knew she ought to be excited, to be happy and joyful because that her dream came true. Elsie had always hoped and wished that George would be just like her, a werecat. She did feel a bit of that happiness inside of her, but she also felt anger and hurt over it all too and that was the emotions taking over the most right now "How could you?" she asked, the anger and hurt giving her the strength to speak "How could you not of told me?"

Georges heart sank as he watched the sadness come over her, he looked away from her he was just so ashamed of himself. How could he do this to her? How could he hurt her so much? He was a horrible person and a lousy pet. He was expecting her to ask him what she did but why he hadn’t prepared himself for it was another thing. He was instantly lost for words he didn’t know how to explain it to her. He needed to be careful what he said after this as it was how it decided his future. His future with her. He opened and closed his mouth several times not liking what it was he was about to say. He couldn’t stand there for much longer without saying something. It just wasn’t right, she asked him a question that he didn’t know how to answer.
“I was scared…” he started and looked up at her, he felt sick to his stomach seeing how upset she was about this. He wished his could just change into his tiger form and run away, but that would make him a coward and if he did that then he knew she would never want to see him or his tiger form again. He needed to fix this now and deal with how ever it turns out later. “I was scared you wouldn't want me in your life if you knew I was a were” he said and stepped a little closer to her. He wanted to comfort her and made her not sad anymore but he knew he couldn’t. “You rescued a tiger that day and I thought it was a tiger you wanted” he said and bit the inside of her mouth, a trait he did when he was nervous or scared even in tiger form. “It was wrong of me to lie to you and I am so sorry, Elsie” he said and looked to the ground again.

Elsie felt the anger disappear just a bit at hearing that the reason he never told her was because he was scared. It made her sigh out softly, but she was still very upset over all of this. She felt, well..betrayed, in a way. As if a long time friend turned out to be a complete lie or something. It stung deep down inside of her. When he stepped closer, she felt her heart skip around and her stomach flutter. Elsie felt speechless, why would he think that is what she wanted? Of course, she was excited when she found a tiger and he decided to stick around with her, but she wouldn't of felt any different if he showed that he happened to be a human as well.
Chewing on her bottom lip, Elsie ran a hand through her hair before wrapping her arms around herself "I...I don't know what to feel about all of this.." she spoke softly, looking away from him to the ground between them "I don't think I would of felt any different that day if you showed me that you were human as well." she admitted. She looked back up at him, she really had no idea what to do about any of this. Her emotions were just going in different directions and she had no idea which one to follow.

She wasn’t the only one that was feeling confused about all this. His animal instinct weren’t as strong when he was in human form and it was hard to tell what was going on with her. If only he was in his tiger form he would know exactly how she was feeling. His heart stopped briefly as she told him that she probably wouldn’t have felt any differently if he had let her know that he was human as well as tiger. “Oh… I see” he said and cleared his throat and looked to the ground. He didn’t want to have to say this to her but he knew he didn’t have any other choice. He knew that she wasn’t just going to let him back into her home now. She would have to have some time to think about all of this, and until she was ready he would just have to be on his own, something he had been dreading ever since he decided to tell her the truth about himself.
“I understand if you don’t want me around anymore” he said and stuffed his hands back into his pockets and stepped backwards away from her. He would just have to go into the woods for a little while, or maybe he could try and get used to being in his human form a lot more. Like Elsie, she was in her human form most of the time, if she didn’t want him around anymore then maybe he could learn to live as a human instead of a tiger. Being in his tiger form would remind him of how much he missed her and how much he had hurt her. That’s if she turned him away. “I will go until you are ready….” she said giving her one last looked and turned around, he took a few steps and stopped, turning his head to looked at her a single tear rolled down his face. “I love you, Elsie” he said and turned and started walking down the drive way.

For some reason, her mind never really comprehended that she would want him to leave, of course, it would be for the best, at least, until she was able to think over all of this and get her emotions in line and figure out how she really feels about all of this. But hearing him say that to her, it made her heart ache and she had no idea why. She had come to learn that the tiger living with her had actually been a human as well, one she had let into her life and into her personal space. Part of her felt a bit exposed by that fact, but yet, there was another part of her that didn't want to see him go. She had felt safe knowing George was there by her side, she always hated the thought when he would disappear for days. Now she can see why he did. maybe he has a girlfriend somewhere else.. she thought and it made her want to cry out. Elsie really couldn't find it in her to speak or even do anything as he said he was going to go until she was ready and as he began to walk away, she felt her heart break, the thought of him never coming back hurt. And when he spoke those four words, she felt herself crumble and her own tears slid down her face.
She has always dreamed those words would come from him, heard him say them a thousands times during her dreams. She always figured he did, but to hear it now..It hurt and him walking away made it worse. Elsie launched herself away from the door way, to catch back up to him. She grabbed a hold of his arm to stop him "Wait. Don't, please.." she spoke quietly, her voice breaking a bit at the end. Before she could even stop herself, she was standing closer to him and pressed her lips softly against his own.

Walking away from her was the hardest thing he ever had to do. It hurt having to leave her all those times he was in his tiger form. But now that she knew the truth and walking away this time, hurt him even more. He was a horrible person to have done this to her and now he had to pay for it. It hurt so much to walk from her now was because he had the feeling deep down that this would be the last time that he would ever see her and it crushed his heart and his soul right out of him. He deserved to be shunned from her life. He was a liar and a betrayer. He didn’t deserve to have her now. So deep in his own pitiful thoughts he didn’t even hear her coming after him, when she touched his arm he was thrown back into reality. She told him to wait and the rest of her words were a blur to him, his head was swimming with thoughts and pain.
It was when she reached up and kissed him did everything just stop, all the thoughts the haze in his mind was suddenly clear. At first he was shocked by the kiss but it didn’t take long for him to snap out of it and reach his arms up and over her body pulling her closer to him. He kissed her back and everything around him seemed to melt away. He had wondered what it would be like to kiss her and now that he was doing it his heart was beating against his ribs and his legs started to feel weak and heavy. Her skin was soft under his fingers and she smelt so sweet. A smell that was all so too familiar to him and he couldn’t get enough of it. Slowly but surely he pulled back from the kiss and looked down at her, his arms still wrapped around her. He looked into his eyes and a smile raced across his face. “I have wanted to do that since the moment you let me out of that cage” he said.

Elsie lost all thoughts and even the world around them as he kissed her back. Her arms found their way up around his neck and pulled herself as close as she could to him. How many times had she dream of this and always wanted it to come true, to really believe that he is human and that he could hold her just like this. When he pulled away, Elsie felt a little breathless as she stared up at him. She couldn't help but to laugh a little bit and smile herself "I've wanted to do that since the first time I ever began to have the dreams of you being human." she admitted. She never really spoken to him in his tiger form about those dreams. She always thought them to be silly and that it was time for her to find herself a mate that was human as well. But now..she wasn't sure she could do that. Because she knows deep down, she loves this man..this tiger, with everything that she has.
And as that complete truth wraps around her, Elsie swallowed a lump in her throat, as she stared up into those green eyes that she had come to love so much, she felt the anger and some of the pain disappear from her. She knows this man, maybe not in human form, but she knows him. Knows his favorite spots to be scratched at, his favorite things to eat and his favorite places in her home. She knows what he likes and doesn't like. He may have lied about this other side to him, but she loves him and she would be completely empty without him in her life "George...Reusol.." she shakes her head a bit "Whoever you are..Don't leave me. I...I love you. I may not know you in this form, but I know you. And I don't think I live without you in my life."

George smiled as she told him that she wanted to kiss him ever since she started dreaming about him. He was so happy that she dreamt of him. Even though he always slept next to her in his tiger form he dreamt about her as well. He liked this feeling he got standing there his human skin touching hers. His heart was doing back flips and he never thought in a million years he would ever get the chance to touch her like this, get to kiss her lips and feel that she liked it as well. When she spoke his human name, it was strange hearing her speak it. She had only ever called her George. “I’m not going anywhere” he said and pulled her closer into him. He never wanted to let her go. “Oh please, my name is George” he said and smiled, he lent down and pressed his lips against hers again. This was the start of something new and wonderful. This is what he has wanted all his life, to find someone just like him. Someone to love.

She felt her breath catch in her throat, at his words and as he pulled her closer to him. A bigger smile spread across her face "George.." she spoke softly, before kissing him back. Her dream pretty much came true, George isn't just a tiger, but a human as well. She would be able to get to know him as a human man and be held in his arms like this. She felt nothing could ruin this, but she knew better than to get her hopes up, even though it was very hard. For now, she was going to let this joy and happiness spread through her and ge to know the man that had always been a part of her life.
