, general description
Before: Elia was a very lively girl before becoming a sweet tooth. Her skin was full of color with rosy cheeks and a beautiful complexion. She was never underweight nor overweight, but perfectly in the middle. When she was younger, Elia had very light freckles that eventually almost completely faded with age. Her hair is a dark brown color that can almost look black in certain lighting.
After: Elia is now a sickly looking girl. Her age can appear to sometimes be around a bulimic seventeen year old. She has pale skin that's sometimes almost grayish and a boney body; she is quite underweight. Dark circles are usually apparent under her eyes, whether it be for lack of sleep or limited eating. Her eyes do not have the same shine they did before and some parts of her that were brighter are now more bland or dull. Since being with Myrrh, though, some color has come back to her skin and cheeks and her eyes have a bit more light to them.[/ul]

, personality
Before: Elia was a very sweet girl and loved life. she was very happy-go-lucky and loved people. She wanted to become a doctor to help people for a living and had a great amount of friends. Elia loved caring for people and helping them even though she was very young. She couldn't wait to grow up and start a family of her own. She kept strict morals and rules for herself.
After: Elia is still a somewhat happy person, but the magic and food the faeries give her make her look sleep deprived and weak. She's quite skinny and a bit insecure about the way she looks. Elia's pretty depressed but still tries finding meaning and happiness in the little things and keeps up a will to get her and Myrrh out of Faery. [/ul]

, history
Elia was borned and raised a little less than half her life in Seattle to Kevin and Marie Harrelson. Elia was a very happy little girl whom every seemed to just fall in love with. She was very relatable, even at such a young age, and seemed more mature than other young children. When Elia was six, Kevin and Marie had their second child, a boy they named James. Elia called him Jimmy for short. Having a second child hurt Kevin and Marie financially and they were forced to move to Nevermore, where Marie's sister, Mia, lived.
Elia thought it might have been exciting to be close to her aunt and see her more often but her aunt was a cold woman that seemed like she wanted nothing to do with her neice and nephew. But it didn't stop Elia from making new friends and fitting in just perfectly to their new home. As Jimmy got older, Elia took good care of him and watched him closely as he grew. Soon enough, both loved each other more than any other siblings and went everywhere together.
One evening, out of the blue and out of character, Elia's aunt Mia called up, wanting to take Elia out to a festival that night; Elia was ten and Jimmy was three, so he was too young to go. Marie trusted her sister very well and took the motion as Mia wanting to get to know her neice and have a relationship with her. Elia was very excited and loved the warm way her aunt treated her, though it was very different. The festival was strange and interesting, but Elia loved it. Mia took her into one of the tents and began talking with a man who looked sort of different and strange to Elia. There seemed to be a sort of exchange and bargaining between the two. Then, Elia was offered some food she had never seen or tasted but it was the best thing she ever had. Wanting more, she was led by the strange man where he changed into his faerie form and frightened Elia. Knocked out, she was taken to Faerie and was never heard from by her parents or brother ever again.
Elia spent the first year very scared and depressed. She eventually found out her dear Aunt Mia was a hunter and traded her to the Faeries for information. She denied contact with most to all creatures, human and faerie. But she met a boy that seemed to be in a similar predicament as her; addicted to the food and magic like her. They became very close friends, and eventually lovers. Elia sticks by Myrrh, now, no matter what, and hopes to find a way out of Faerie.[/ul]

` are there giants too, in the dance?
This application was made exclusively for Nevermore by Maura Lee Bee. Steal it, and I will release the hounds when you least expect it. And they're not cute little puppies either. They are ravenous beasts because I constantly forget to feed them. They bite, by the way. And love flesh. Don't make me release the hounds. O _ O
